Breakfast was fab, luckily enough to get parking being Sunday… Found the doona cover for the beds were way to heavy..didn’t think to ring reception to see if there was lighter ones or a blanket.. Otherwise lovely hotel 👍

We are very happy with our 8 night stay at Aurea Hotel! The staff is extremely serviceminded and professional! Also, even before our stay when I contacted the hotel we had excellent communication which I think is important. We did not have breakfast but it looked delicious, the à la carte breakfast on weekdays. Appreciate it is a non smoking hotel! Especially as we had an executive room with balcony - good to know no one can smoke out there! The only negative with location of our room was it is close to the road.. pretty noisy. To the ”must visit” beautiful Kings Park it is approx a 10 minutes walk if you go via Jacob’s ladder, 242 steps. If you want to avoid stairs one can take a longer path. The bus (free to Elizabeth Quay) is outside the hotel and runs about every 15 min. You can walk to Elizabeth Quay, takes about 15 min. The John Oldham park close to the hotel is a little gem with different birds, the fountain etc. Located in between the roads though, but nice! Thanx so much everybody for a great stay! Anna & Viggo

Onsite parking was handy Location was great! So close to Jacobs ladder & kings park, short drive to the city, subi etc This is a old building done up Really big old air con unit in the room was the first thing i noticed, didn't have to use it thank goodness. Lights were a fancy panel but still after 2 days couldn't work out how to turn the lights on/off Room was small but felt fresh with nice small bathroom area Comfortable bed No noise protection, doors banging and cars arriving outside was quite loud Mea at the front desk was AMAZING!! made us great coffees both days, and was super friendly 👌 No room service, Didn't check it the pool, but apparently there is one there Overall it was fine for couple of nights and as a base

We did not have breakfast but it looked delicious, the à la carte breakfast on weekdays. Appreciate it is a non smoking hotel! Especially as we had an executive room with balcony - good to know no one can smoke out there! The only negative with location of our room was it is close to the road.. pretty noisy. To the ”must visit” beautiful Kings Park it is approx a 10 minutes walk if you go via Jacob’s ladder, 242 steps. If you want to avoid stairs one can take a longer path. The bus (free to Elizabeth Quay) is outside the hotel and runs about every 15 min. You can walk to Elizabeth Quay, takes about 15 min. The John Oldham park close to the hotel is a little gem with different birds, the fountain etc. Located in between the roads though, but nice! Thanx so much everybody for a great stay! Anna & Viggo

We found our way to kings park the long way round and came back down jacobs stairs that are close by but these are not for anyone afraid of heights. Restaurants are a good trek away and the hotels menu was very limited in scope and only 3 star standard

The hotel is conveniently located next to Mount Hospital where a family member was having an operation. Staff were very friendly and helpful and happily accommodated any requests. Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and there were nice views of the city from our balcony. Restaurant had delicious food and coffee was very nice. Would definitely recommend

Amazing location, hotel itself is very clean and tidy. The staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful, caring and yet very professional. My stay was more for convinience due the close proximity of the hospital. I highly recommend this hotel! 😊

Clean with very helpful staff and ideally located to visit central Perth which is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. The nearby botanic gardens are a must to visit.

The room is advertised as with a balcony. After a long day we go to pour a glass of wine only to find they do not supply wine glasses in the room. So a trip down to the bar to get wine glasses. We eventually get that sorted only to go out to the balcony and there are no chairs. I ring reception to query why no chairs only to be told they do not supply chairs for the balcony for safety reasons. So apparently it’s safe to stand on the balcony but not safe to sit. ??? The two women on the next balcony had arrived from the USA and had to sit on the concrete tiled floor with their food and drink. Because there is no desk in the room either. Would not recommend if you want at least some comforts.

Breakfast was fab, luckily enough to get parking being Sunday… Found the doona cover for the beds were way to heavy..didn’t think to ring reception to see if there was lighter ones or a blanket.. Otherwise lovely hotel 👍

Onsite parking was handy Location was great! So close to Jacobs ladder & kings park, short drive to the city, subi etc This is a old building done up Really big old air con unit in the room was the first thing i noticed, didn't have to use it thank goodness. Lights were a fancy panel but still after 2 days couldn't work out how to turn the lights on/off Room was small but felt fresh with nice small bathroom area Comfortable bed No noise protection, doors banging and cars arriving outside was quite loud Mea at the front desk was AMAZING!! made us great coffees both days, and was super friendly 👌 No room service, Didn't check it the pool, but apparently there is one there Overall it was fine for couple of nights and as a base

We are very happy with our 8 night stay at Aurea Hotel! The staff is extremely serviceminded and professional! Also, even before our stay when I contacted the hotel we had excellent communication which I think is important.
