excellent. note we had breakfast included, and a higher level room with balcoany for this review. Very good presentation of property. Often at 40yrs they are let go and are a shadow of former glory, but not here. Pool was great. Dinner very good. Breakfast good (although coffee a big let-down). The bathroom and room great. Games provided.
Also note when we were there, it was quite under-populated by travellers, and tariff was relatively low. I imagine the pool could be awful in school holidays etc, full of 'orrible children, so bear that in mind, but all in all, a grteat experience for price. I would def return (but maybe only in off-season times)

The ocean was visible on the horizon from our room with clear views out into the sea beyond. Beautiful - real - plants hung over the edges of all the balconies, cascading down to create an indoor green space and lovely ambience. The design of this Hotel is in the round so that each room has an outward facing balcony accessible from the room itself & this adds another element. Parking was available within the hotel parking area and close to exits. Overall we had a peaceful stay and would not hesitate to return again.

Our room was well presented however a little dirty. Our shower wet the entire floor of the bathroom almost flooded. Our fridge was barely cold. We also couldn’t get out wifi to work. Overall pretty disappointed.

The elevator nearest the rear parking lot was not working. It was required to walk back to the reception area to use that elevator. The room was clean and I thought a good size. The front door does not self close fully. The door will still be open enough so it doesn’t not lock. No key required to open the door. When using the shower I had a lot of water leak onto the floor. The shower screen on the bathtub is on hinges. Nice but if it’s not exactly in the right spot, water on the floor. This was probably me.

We came back to the hotel at 8.45 and would have liked to have a drink in the bar but it was closing and so was the dining room. We eventually got a drink in the lobby but I would have thought a hotel of this size would have catered for people trying to catch up with a drink.

At the time hotel had only one elevator working, other elevator was playing up as well and we had to wait 30 mins for it to get to our floor(2nd)...
Lots of hotel guests were using fire escape stairs to go.im between floors during this time, we had to leave again and waited for elevator and decided to.use stairs as wait was unreal.
Staff had put towels in the fire doors to keep.them.open and the main fire door entry to the hotel proped open with a bag of cement. Meaning anyone can access the hotel without a swipecard.
The fire alarm went off at 12ish and evacuated... this was a nightmare with stairs.there was no staff to be seen or directing and waited out front in the cold for an hour until fire fighters said could go in as false alarm, not the first they have had this week.
Going back.in a staff member was suddenly around.
Room was ok, comfy bed when we could get to sleep.in it. They have lights shining onto the hotel all night so the room has these coloured lights in the room all night...
Avoid this place, its gone downhill and run by staff who dont care about their customers.
Poor maintenance and shortcuts to keep the place open, the hotel if it did have a fire would be a nightmare to evacuate.
No explanation, no sorry when checking out. I asked if management where doing anything and got a no, but thanks for staying with them.

Proper mugs for tea instead of the tiny cups and our room didn’t have spoons and only 1 toilet roll. I had to go to front counter to get more.
Our room was in front of light that is outside on main road which meant you could see the coloured lights change all night from around the edges of the curtain.
Suggestion for that light to be switched off around 10pm, or those rooms are much cheaper.

The pool wasn’t working, when we were waiting to check in another visitor was saying the pool is freezing and the guy at reception said the heaters were broken but it’s 24 degree water. The reception was so slow with only have one staff member at the counter around 5pm on valentines. Poor guy had a line of people. The aircon in the room was so

Got charged bar minibar consumption even though we didnt use anything from the minibar.
Staff asked us on Sunday morning at checkout and after we said no we hadnt used anything she replyed no problem , goodbye.
Then i see at 6.30pm sunday night a withdrawal from my account. I then ring the hotel and argue my case. They say they will refund but the point is they have taken money from me without my authority and afrer reception staff had already accepted my response.they didnt even check the minibar at checkout ,so they took my word for it that we used nothing, but rhen reversed their actions once we had left, kind of like they thought we wouldnt notice the transaction on our bank statement...
Very untrustworthy behaviour.the room was fine but
I wont stay there again.
