Comfortable rooms, lovely view

The rooms are average and need a good clean. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows are old. The king size quilt barely covered the bed so im guessing it was a queen size quilt on a king size bed. The housekeeping was poor and not done everyday.

Generally speaking I loved this property, the inside of the rooms were quite nice and clean, and the area is beautiful. Some of the amenities are a little dated, like the pool and gym but that really didn't detract from the experience. The only bad thing I would say is that the room was not available for check in at 2pm. We arrived early and didn't expect the room to be ready, but at no stage were we informed that they were running late for a 2pm check in. First we were told less than half an hour so we waited in the foyer. After 50mins I had to approach the front desk to ask again, and finally the room was ready. I don't have a problem with things going wrong, it is how it is managed that causes the problems. We ended up sitting around for almost 2hours because no one had been proactive and respectfully enough to call or inform us that there was a problem. Sure we got an apology, but honestly this was beyond just an apology. There most definitely should be compensation in these cases.

They’ve advertised facilities with gym? The room they call ‘gym’ has three equipments. One was out of order. The tiniest room! I had to call reception twice to get our room serviced. First call they said they need to focus on arriving guests. 4 hours later I called again to service our room. Cleaners didn’t even vacuum the room only replaced the towels and made the bed.

Lovely place to stay. Room was large and very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Check in was not so great. Arrived after 4pm and was told that our room was not ready yet. We had had a long day of driving and thought that as check in is 2pm that the room would be available. Was told that the hotel staff had had a big day but they should be able to get your room ready. Others also did not have their rooms ready either. Then was also told that they could see that we had ordered breakfast but that was not available either. They could provide a continental breakfast only. If you cannot provide breakfast it should not be an option when making the booking. We had received no communication from the hotel to advise that our room would not be ready and to arrive later. We ended up changing our room so that we could check in. Lovely grounds etc.. but the overall experience with chcek in would make me think about it before booking here again.

Bathroom was not clean, kitchen utensils was not clean and rusted, pool was not heated because of the power outage

Great accommodation clean tidy rooms nice and quiet disappointed that there was no restaurant or bar open on a Saturday night was a long walk in and out of town as taxi service is terrible in Mudgee next time I will b making sure these are open before booking

We enjoyed our stay at Parklands Resort. The rooms were really spacious and nicely furnished. There was a huge balcony at the back of the room which was great to sit at and enjoy a drink The resort is located only a few minutes drive from the centre of town and many attractions such as wineries. I would definitely stay there again

Liked everything and especially the pool and sally the receptionist who was fantastic

I stayed for two nights by myself but will definitely be bringing my husband back to stay , extremely enjoyable, Excellent staff , stunning grounds .

We stayed for a 3 night stay here from a Sunday night to Wednesday, thinking this was a nice quite time just after school holidays for our break away. Well that was an understatement. We where put in a room inbetween a large group of pepple in Mudgee for a wedding. So as they all arrived on the Sunday the partying started. So Sunday night they partied in numerous rooms around us till early hours of the morning so no sleep for us that night. The next night which was the Monday night, after they all return from the wedding full intoxicated the loud music, screaming over the top on everyone , and them all trying to sing went on till past 3.30am. This was just so disrespectful to other people staying here. As i sat up looking for an after hrs number to call on the website which i couldn't find i read through reviews from other people that have stayed an could see that this seems to be the " party resort" in Mudgee so if you have children stear clear. On check out when the lady behind the service desk asked about our stay i let it rip, her response was, we are owned by a someone in Sydney so you need to email them as they don't listen to us. I did find an after hrs number on the front door of the reception though on leaving. Also the lady that serviced us as we arrived need to up her skills as a greeting person. She gave us wrong information about the restaurant there and didn't inform us that the road out the front was going to be closed all week. Wouldn't recommend staying here

Rude staff, not at all hospitable or willing to help a stuff they made with a check in time. Dangerous top heavy and thin furniture toppled over onto our toddler, noisy air con stuck on heat only, stairs weren't safe for elderly person we had with us. Staff also made it a huge problem that we asked for 2 keys, our booking has 2 rooms. Never staying there again...
