I was wanting a relaxing getaway and that is exactly what i got. Lounging by the pool was what I needed. The quality and variety of the breakfast, lunch and dinner food options were great

Staff really made this stay exceptional

Amazing resort to stay at, clean, comfortable, perfect location and the beautiful resort pool was so relaxing. We found the staff to be outstanding in their customer service and friendliness. Housekeeping was perfect. Special mention to Santiago, who immediately made us feel welcomed on our first day and offered recommendations of places to eat which were also amazing. Will definitely stay at Peppers Port Douglas again.

Hotel lacked amenities and restaurant lacked legitimate dinner menu and setting. Breakfast was also quite limited in its offering

Most uncomfortable bed ever had in a 5 star resort. First room couldn't even lie down without springs sticking in your back. They did move us to another room which was marginally better. Staff told us no use moving again as all the beds are the same age! At $550 + a night should of been better. The pool was lovely though.

We had a great trip here, lovely spacious apartment in excellent condition, and the location is perfect. Pool area was great and the staff were very attentive. Think some of the reviews are a bit harsh, it may not be the most luxurious 5 star in the world but it’s certainly an upgrade from a 4 star. We’d stay again.

What’s not so good: This is a family hotel. Please (couples) be aware of what you are booking. Pool is full of kids all day. Staff need to be a little more welcoming on check-in. A 5* hotel without and amenities or water or ability to cast onto tv is not a 5 star hotel. Please replace the doors - the locking system (still using keys) is so outdated and means everyone need to slam the door to lock it morning and night! What’s good: Location is perfect - beach and restaurants are all easily walkable. Breakfast good but you need to get there early. Staff at breakfast great Parking great You must book restaurants before you arrive the are all fully booked days in advance

Excellent hotel. Couldn’t have asked for more. Breakfast was excellent, staff helped with any request we had. We would return in a heartbeat.
