We had booked 4 nights at Peppers with our 3 month old daughter. We called ahead to confirm the portacot for the room and was told it would be there on arrival. After checking in, we walked to our room to find heavy construction next door and above our room. Inside the room, the dishwasher was running with nothing in it, no portacot and a cherry picker looking directly into our bedroom. We rang reception to bring the portacot so our daughter could have her nap, however this took close to an hour while we waited. We looked through our room further to find the small tv in the lounge room was broken, we notified staff however this was not tended too during our entire stay. Our morning’s commenced with tradies out the front of our bedroom at 7:00am discussing the day, starting the cherry picker and waking our daughter. The day consisted of scaffolding being built, masonry drill bits being drilled above our room and no privacy. When flagged with staff on our concerns over the room, we were offered a free breakfast and told they were sorry. This could have been avoided at the beginning by notifying guests of the construction, seeing we had booked for an infant and maybe thinking our situation wouldn’t fit for the current works. The staff had no forward thinking, no personal skills and no empathy for our family or what it’s like to have children. We have stayed at this hotel for over 15 years but will never go back.

Our check in was very rushed, not sure why as I was the only one there: room was fine although a bit tired…. I would have like to have been told about the amenities, I have no idea if they have a gym, but I could see the pool from reception, also would have liked to have heard about breakfast options,… On the plus side you’re a 25 minute walk to Kingscliff which is such a cute little place… full of amazing restaurants and the beach views are amazing…. They also have a great area for picnics and kids play area…worth a visit if you’re up for the walk.

The hotel unit is ideal for travellers who would spend either a night or two not any more. Restaurants are few and far inbetween with limited opening. Need a microwave in this room if staying more than 2 Nights. Peppers is a great brand

Staff were quite preoccupied/dismissive at times. Not sure if it was due to lack of staff

Fabulous. Pools amazing. Bonus to have a heated pool. Super clean. Only negative is gym too small

At first glance everything looked great but lots of annoying issues over our stay. Signage could be much better for such a spread out complex, the so called heated pool was not, restaurant and drinks much too expensive, happy hours not realistic and too many conditions, nowhere to get a drink or coffee or a snack after 6pm, reception often unattended, no water in Gym, layout of 1BR not convenient and on last morning housekeeping comes in before we had checked out!

Nice property with plenty of space, Pools, restaurants and Easy parking. Clean rooms good size bathroom.

What a nightmare bird crap all over the car in the underground parking garage Room tv entertainment system not working called front desk couldn’t fix till the next morning air conditioner NOT working booked in for 3 days stayed 1 nothing was offered ( another room or refund) Maybe???? Thanks for nothing Terry L

The apartment was large and well set out with a kitchen full of essentials. The property does not have an ocean frontage or view, but we knew that. Most rooms look out over one or the other pool.

We enjoyed our time at Peppers Salt Resort and would be happy to go again but the room we stayed in was ‘tired’ and really needs a refurbishment. Great facilities, helpful staff. Thank you.

Good location, comfortable beds, good aircon. Those were the only positive things about this hotel. This hotel didn't meet minimum standards of being able to actually sleep. Saturday night there was a raging party in a nearby room from 9:30pm to midnight, this included screaming, yelling, karaoke, and loud music. We were honestly too tired to think about calling reception with the hope and expectation that someone on staff would have heard the noise and did something about it. Same again Sunday night except it started at 11pm and ended past 2am. This time we ended up calling reception 3 separate times to get it resolved eventually. The room is badly designed and fitted out. The window from the room to the bathroom is just weird and when someone gets up in the middle of the night the light wakes everyone up. The block out blinds are useless as they let in plenty of light around it (whatever happened to just using some nice curtains?). There is no table or desk in the room leaving you no where to put things down. To use the kettle you need to put it in the corner of the room on the floor or unplug the TV and put it on the TV cabinet. The toilet button is hard to flush and door can't close. The parking situation is just confusing with numerous sections labeled however with some garage doors left up, the signage disappears. There are little sparrows everywhere so your car gets covered in bird poop. The thumping dryer from next door is heard and felt through the walls.

Couldnt see the beach. Staff provided basic confusing information. Was advised of a 200 dollar holding deposit not to be charged and released upon check out... this was not the case and had been charged and upon check out advised this is now a 5 to 6 day turn around from my bank.. not impressed. 1 bath towel per person for a 4 day stay. 1 milk no room clean. Requested 3vtimes for 2 single beds.. not done either. Not impressed with my stay. Expected more from a Peppers resort. Out dated decor.

Brilliant property . We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t believe the value for money .

The only down side was the distances to walk between room, facilities, car park etc. staff were excellent

The room was in great condition with a beautiful view! The staff were very friendly and the location is very convenient close to several restaurants and sightseeing activities in Kingscliff. Definitely recommend!
