Good location, comfortable beds, good aircon. Those were the only positive things about this hotel. This hotel didn't meet minimum standards of being able to actually sleep. Saturday night there was a raging party in a nearby room from 9:30pm to midnight, this included screaming, yelling, karaoke, and loud music. We were honestly too tired to think about calling reception with the hope and expectation that someone on staff would have heard the noise and did something about it. Same again Sunday night except it started at 11pm and ended past 2am. This time we ended up calling reception 3 separate times to get it resolved eventually. The room is badly designed and fitted out. The window from the room to the bathroom is just weird and when someone gets up in the middle of the night the light wakes everyone up. The block out blinds are useless as they let in plenty of light around it (whatever happened to just using some nice curtains?). There is no table or desk in the room leaving you no where to put things down. To use the kettle you need to put it in the corner of the room on the floor or unplug the TV and put it on the TV cabinet. The toilet button is hard to flush and door can't close. The parking situation is just confusing with numerous sections labeled however with some garage doors left up, the signage disappears. There are little sparrows everywhere so your car gets covered in bird poop. The thumping dryer from next door is heard and felt through the walls.

Couldnt see the beach. Staff provided basic confusing information. Was advised of a 200 dollar holding deposit not to be charged and released upon check out... this was not the case and had been charged and upon check out advised this is now a 5 to 6 day turn around from my bank.. not impressed. 1 bath towel per person for a 4 day stay. 1 milk no room clean. Requested 3vtimes for 2 single beds.. not done either. Not impressed with my stay. Expected more from a Peppers resort. Out dated decor.

Brilliant property . We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t believe the value for money .

The only down side was the distances to walk between room, facilities, car park etc. staff were excellent

The room was in great condition with a beautiful view! The staff were very friendly and the location is very convenient close to several restaurants and sightseeing activities in Kingscliff. Definitely recommend!

Lovely resort close to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and the service was good. The buffet breakfast was great! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a laid back stay.

Fantastic stay!! The reception was so welcoming (and smelled delightful) and the staff on the desk were so friendly and helpful. The lovely lady who checked us in remembered us during our stay which was so thoughtful. The lagoon pool is literally incredible. So big and spacious with ample pool lounges. We are enjoyed that the pool area was open until 10pm and enjoyed a late night swim/spa. Our room was so spacious, comfortable bed and fantastic in room spa. Honestly we can’t wait to return again soon!

We had a lovely 5 night stay. It was noticeable that amenities and rooms were a bit tired, and had some issues with our door. Staff were super helpful. One thing I found difficult was that my 4 yr old could not reach the soap bolted onto the wall as it was too high - not a big deal. I was also incredibly confused about room service. Which when booked stated “subject to availability” - what does that even mean?!?! When we checked in there was no discussion and it was on day 3 I realised we would not be receiving room service. We don’t need new towels or our bed made but some new cups & the bin changed would’ve been lovely given we were in a room only. Overall, especially at the price point, we were very happy with our stay and will be coming back yearly :-)

Great overall

We had requested a specific area for our room as we stay at this property often and my wife struggles with walking with her cane. This was stated in the booking but upon arrival to check in we had been allocated a room furthest from lifts, car parks breakfast and pool access. We were advised by check in staff there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. The manger over heard this and went through all the bookings and re checked us in to a more suitable access room for my wife. We would like to thank him for going out of his way to help us out. The room was in a helpful location and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Peppers Salt as usual. Room was clean, breakfast great and pool amazing. We will definitely be back again

Our room was lovely, it was spotless and beautifully clean, as was the rest of the resort. We needed an extra bed and the staff, including Tracey B and Johnno, were really friendly, helpful and super efficient. The breakfast was amazing, with so much more food than your average buffet, and they offered gluten- and dairy-free options. The mince was to die for, so yummy. I will be returning. I highly recommend staying here; the local restaurants are also amazing. You have to go to Fin the fish restaurant, which was divine; the seafood platter at the tavern with ocean views was delicious; and the Mexican was next level. We had so much fun chatting to the locals in restuarant strip just over the road. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, and a lovely hotel. We had an issue with our room and the staff were amazing at getting it sorted asap and we got a little treat for the inconvenience - great customer service.

We have stayed at Peppers 4 or 5 times for a week each trip nd loved it; however have not been there for approx 6 years and the standards have dropped and work needs to be done on the property. The room was not clean, especially behind the tables next to the bed and around the blinds. The fan in the bathroom did not work, pavers were loose and in poor condition around the spa and pool. For what you pay it is not value for money any more.

The room was fine, everything is closed on Sunday nights (restaurant, room service, etc). There were no QR codes in the room to use anything as stated, it was not super clean and I wouldn't have classified as a resort when nothing is open to use.

Lovely pool and atmosphere. Drinks and food are expensive but expected being a resort. Good location, close to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay again

Room clean needed more towels, never needed the laundry facilities.
