Parking was close and convenient. The host was friendly and informative. The room was clean and well kept. Close to town and shops for convenience. Lovely view from the front.

Second time here, a great underground hotel, with great atmosphere for a variety of travellers. Owners are friendly and helpful as well

What a unique and beautiful place, Mike was an absolute pleasure to meet with lots of information about the town. The room was really warm and quiet hot shower and good kitchen for your needs. Best part of my coober pedy experience. Thanks Mike 😁

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, Gemeinschaftsküche mit allem was man braucht, Kochherd, Mikrowelle, Geschirr, etc. Die Zimmer liegen ebenerdig im Hügel drin. Vermittelt ein gutes Gefühl, wie 70% der Einwohner von Coober Pedy leben.

Rooms are underground, but not as dark as other places, where it is pitch black…..big outside door is open.

We have stayed twice now. Always extremely clean and we love the guest facilities. The guest kitchen is very handy, and as a family we love the sheltered outdoor space with a cubby house and bbq. Our go to place when staying in Coober Pedy now.

This is a must for travelers stopping at Coober Pedy. It’s very unique, clean and has astounding view of the night sky in the evening. It offers parking as well for those who have cars.

Room 9 Bed Dredfull

We stayed in a an underground room also known as a dugout in an opal mining town.The roo had rudimentary tea and coffee making facilities. We were expected to wash our dishes etc in a plastic bowl,there was no sink except in the bathroom.The decor was old ,the linen looked dated and dirty.There was a layer of dust on the floor.There were also ants on the floor..The furniture was old and the room smelt..It just looks like it could do with a makeover..

I love the privacy of it and a small kitchen that caters for our use . It is very quiet and personal and the staff is very friendly and heloful

This place was very basic but it did the job.

Really liked the room and the kitchen provided.
