Tolarno Hotel

this is only a 2-3 star rating hotel, very shabby and smells of smoke in the corridors. The window blinds are filthy and smell musty. The carpet is old and shabby. The whole hotel needs a makeover.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful and went out of their way for us.

Older property which of course could do with updating, but this is to be expected at this fantastic price. Room was HUGE and so comfortable and really, really well appointed. It had absolutely everything we needed. Excellent transport links, will definitely be staying here again!

Place needs a little more TLC. Staff was great. Place has a unique style and energy. Ac works great. Close to the train and beach. Great gem of a restaurant across the street.

Great site for entertaining and entertainment

Good position, not 5 star, bit funky and good for an overnighter…Closed businesses downstairs make it a bit eerie….

On entering it was ok. Not amazing, just ok. Children were happy enough until mice (yes, plural!) began running across the floor. Watched them run out of our room and down the hallway under the reception door. Once we were fairly confident there was none in our room we had to get a blanket to block the gap under the door. Leaves you with a foul taste in your mouth and an uneasy feeling for the remainder set of the evening.

Our room had everything we needed, beautiful paintings throughout, excellent location, def will be back 😊

Despite booking months ahead, I was given a lesser basement room. Peeling paint, grubby carpet, non working ceiling fan, little natural light from tiny widows at pavement level. Reception unable to make changes. At least clean sheets, comfortable bed. Not recommended.

When I approached the room, I could smell smoke, cigar smoke to be accurate. Once in the room it was clear someone had been smoking, it reeked. The smoke detectors were covered in plastic bags (unsafe) The carpet by the sink area was soaking, the blinds looked like they had never been cleaned, there was black mould on the sofa cushions and in the bathroom. BUT, when I approached the manager he changed my room with an upgrade which is the only thing saving this hotel from a 1 star rating.

Great stay close to St Kilda beach and places to eat, room was huge

An ok hotel for a night in a good a spot

Kolmen yön majoitus. Hyvä sijainti ja ystävällinen henkilökunta! Ravintolat ja St Kildan ranta kivan kävelyetäisyyden päässä. Ratikkapysäkki hotellin edessä oli hieno juttu. Meidän majoituksen aikaan alakerrassa asui ketjupolttaja ja tupakan savua tuli huoneeseen myös yöllä.

Great stay

Room was terrific and large. Eclectic and arty styling. Getting a bit tired. Some furnishings a bit worn. Great service. Great location. Carparking availability. Have stayed before. Will stay again.

This hotel was excellent for the price we payed , room was a little run down but perfect location for beach and city centre , trams located right outside the door . Staff were super helpful with any questions we had

Das Zimmer war schön abgesehen von den Sitzgelegenheiten auf dem Balkon. Etwas gestört haben die abgestellten Möbel unmittelbar vor meiner Zimmertür, trotzdem würde ich dieses Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen

Comfortable Beds. Warm Shower. Clean room.

I lost my key on my final night and had no assistance in getting a new one. Which was very scary considering I was in an area i wasn't familiar with and had nowhere to sleep.
