The room was very nice with a balcony great views, room was very clean and spacious. There was a loose metal strip (carpet tread) that was loose, which could be a hazard. minor fix. but the room itself was very very nice. and great location with great views, lovely walk along the water front. parking can be a bit awkward when you first arrive as its not very clear where you go or wait whilst you go up and check in and get a parking pass if you have organized parking with the hotel. but when you do it is very safe and secure. with the couple of minor things mentioned, I would still definitely book again 100% and with a balcony river view.

We arrived after a 12 hour flight (and 24 hour delay) hoping to just have meal and drink at hotel which reception confirmed we had time to do but within 10 mins of arrival, kitchen decided to close early. Kitchen and bar are also not open after 10am (breakfast) on sundays. Hotel is lovely and comfortable and has fantastic views but would have been nice to access food and refreshments as residents.

Was not impressed about no parking for my vehicle so we had to park it four minutes down the road. In-house loud music started at 6:45 am had to ask the lady on the desk if she would kindly turn it down . View was very nice plus the breakfast was delicious thank you

This place is a bit wacky but overall not too bad Things to note... Make sure you have parking booked with the hotel before you arrive otherwise you're going to end up in the roads outside. They only have 9 available You're in the grounds of UWA so expect to drive to any shops as there's nothing around the hotel Entry corridor to rooms is open air meaning it's a bit noisy from the traffic below and you do get to smell what's cooking in the kitchen that night yay Music in the alfresco can get loud especially since they think it's a good idea to turn it on at 6:30 in the morning even when no one is there Luckily it was turned down after day 2 Breakfast is good and the staff generally friendly View from the upper levels is great

pros -housekeeping were fantastic and helpful -complimentary nespresso coffee -close to cbd, ubers were somewhat affordable cons -wet corridor -parking was reserved but spot was often taken by other guests. be aware of the parking fee also -tv chromecast wasnt working -sink is quite small -in house restaurant is just okay, nothing spectacular

Cleanliness was good and room was spacious and generally well equipped (although basic toilet amenities like toothpaste and toothbrush have to be requested from the counter). While there were minimal parking space available within the hotel, there are plenty of affordable parking near the hotel that feels relatively safe since it is near UWA. Generally convenient with a short car ride to the city centre that has plenty of food and groceries options.

The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room itself was comfortable, warm, clean, serviced daily by housekeeping with the added bonus of lovely complimentary Mr Smith Body and Hair products. The location on Matilda Bay is beautiful and it is extremely convenient to University of WA.

Overall, the hotel was okay. Clean, modern, and the location was next to UWA, where we needed to be every day. Not close to downtown or other services such as restaurants, so we had to eat at the hotel restaurant or order out. My main issue was that there wasn't a printer available for guests. Due to flight delays caused by bad weather, we had to stay longer after the 10:00 am checkout (until 7:30 pm) and were charged a full day (at a higher rate), despite the staff not understanding the situation and not prorating the charge. Disappointing, 

Hotel is beautful with lovely wood touches, new and clean, great location. Ate at the restaurant, great food and great service. Breakfast lovely, continental plus you chose one hot dish - ample food and everything carefully prepared and presented. Love the refills of sparkling water! Close to the city, watch the sailing boats from the yacht club. For me, the only thing was, bring so close to UWA, there were students about at night outside, which was all quiet both nights by 12 but a little late for this light sleeping old lady. Also, the hotel has very little parking so I had to street park both nights which I didn't like - book ahead for the parking and that will be fine. Overall, lovely stay, standout furnishings and style.

Property and staff couldn’t be faulted. No afternoon and evening meals available during our stay for some reason! Parking was a nightmare due to our vehicle being bit larger than average. Overall a clean hotel.

Another wonderful stay at Wonil Hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful views of the river, tranquil and exceptionally clean.

Clean well maintained hotel. Unfortunately restaurant was closed (Monday ) so we did not have dinner options and no room service available. Also no mini bar facilities!!!!
