Blue Horizon Hotel

Although the room was cleaned daily, there was no replenishment of fresh towels and when housekeeping was asked, their response was thry were fully booked and we had to wait until they washed towels to bring to the room. No pool towels were available on 2 days out of the 4 day stay. Because it was Christmas, they did buffet menus at the restaurant however if you ordered from the a la carte menu it took over an hour to get food and when it came it was cold. Also buffet breakfast was poor and guests had to wait very long for the bread and fruit to be replenished. One morning guests had to wait additional 30 mins before the restaurant was opened for breakfast

Room decor was modern. Hotel room was clean. Staff were pleasant.

Room was cleaned every day and was spotless. However, we did have to call to have our bath towels refreshed as the maid had failed to on two occasions. Noise from the early morning gardening staff was a little too intrusive. Staff were helpful in providing a late check out.

The place is not modern but it’s clean and well kept. The staff came daily knocked on the door to see if I needed housekeeping. From the time I got into the lobby I was welcomed. Beautiful front desk staff and restaurant staff. Area is great the beach is across the street but the hotel pool should be a must do. I will definitely stay again my next visit to Barbados and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a space for vacation or work stay.

The room was awful. Looked old and dilapidated. The AC and Tv didn’t work and the bath faucet was broken.

No kitchen available. The rooms were spotless.staff extremely polite and accommodating. Only one negative thing is that the price of dining was a bit too high.

Friendly personnel, easy access. The property needs upgrading.

Good quiet location

Place was clean and tidy A bit noisy in the nights at my room something kept banging idk if it was the generator or where they did the washing, but it was a convenient hotel

Location is great. Staff was welcoming. The room was clean but the AC kept us up all night. The flow in the shower wasn't the best but it is workable. One night stay was enough for us. The price we paid wasjt worth the stay

Overall, the property is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. It would have been courteous to have the AC already, especially given the fact I had to walk up 55 flights of stairs. Things to be aware of: No elevators. I was placed on the 4th floor and had to carry my belongings up. Thank goodness I'm young with no barriers to exercising. Although the beach is across the street, it has an excessive amount of seaweed right on the beach and waterfront. Some people managed to still go in the water. Plenty of buses and taxis are right in front of the hotel if you are an adventurous person and don't mind heading out on your own. The continental breakfast is very plain with no protein (hard-boiled eggs). They serve breakfast there for a pretty expensive price. You're better off walking a short distance to Quayside Center. If you don't want fast food like Chefette, KFC, etc, check out Afrobeats by Shaz restaurant for some delicious food with a great variety. If you take a left outside the main entrance of hotel, it's about a 13-16 minute walk, depending on how fast you walk.
