Belize Tropical Dream Villas

This is one of the best hosted properties I have ever stayed at. Lisa, the host, coordinated our taxi pickup and drop off at the airport with her driver, Dean, who is wonderful and went out of his way to help us make the water taxi. Her local property manager, Gordo, is incredibly helpful and responsive. The location is perfect, close to town yet quiet, and within walking distance of the water taxi terminal. In addition, Lisa provides a 5 gallon water jug and coffee. She has a super informative binder with tons of restaurant recs and other tips. I also messaged her a few questions before and during our stay and she always responded with needed info. If you are looking for your own one bedroom apartment in a safe, gated building, I highly recommend. I wish I could have met her in person- she was out of town- but we will definitely stay here again if we return to Ambergris Caye!

Loved it. Very friendly service and had everything we needed

Nice unit with well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed with extra pillows. Couch wasn’t the most comfortable for our backs though. Linens included beach towels. Shady patio area with barbecue. Super staff and they provide a lot of info and insight to the area (restaurants, activities, recommended vendors etc). South of town centre, but only short drive with golf cart or taxi. Only two blocks to beach, groceries ten min walk and convenience store across the street. Would stay again.

Lisa and Gordo are amazing they take care of anything you could ask for. Kitchen is not suitable for cooking meals. There is a patio to include a gas grill helps a lot. Simple basic dishes are possible. Otherwise the condo is clean and comfortable. We will stay again.

Lisa was awesome! She made us feel like we were welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. She had a binder full of recommendations of places to try and tips on how to do things while we were there. She also knew people to contact for us when we wanted to do activities around the island. Our place was great and equipped with everything we needed. We had beach towels so we didn't have to worry about bringing any with us. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great all week with our floor fan and cool air in the Villa. We could not ask for a better stay. We would recommend to anyone!

So many disappointments. Incorrect information about the taxi charges from The rentals preferred taxi venders . The property is down a broken up street in a scary neighborhood. Had someone throw a rock of a roof at us while walking on the street by the property. Non of the pictures were of the property we rented. Living room was horrible no couch. There were dished that were dirty and put away with clean dishes. The bedroom had an ac unit that had a large Eliminated number on it, There was a window in the back door that let in the light from the street. At night the bedroom was like sleeping in a dim lit room, I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. The back patio had no chairs to sit on. The water pressure from the bathroom sink wasn’t strong enough to brush your teeth, and there was no hot water hooked up to the sink. The shower took almost 10 min to get warm. I went up to the 3rd floor shared balcony, And office for towels, i was told that was what house keeping was for. Felt very uncomfortable as the male owner yelled at the female owner in front of me. My hair had left a slight pink on the towel I told them it would come out easily. They asked if I wanted a rag towel to Dry my hair with. I have never been treated so rudely and spent so much money to stay in a horrible place. I have stayed in hostels that were nicer.

I spent a superb time with my family at Tropical Dreams Villas. The hosts were amazing and did an outstanding job in making us feel comfortable and providing us with all information and facilities we need. I would highly recommend this place.

This is a comfortable, refurbished, 6-unit hotel on the south side of town. The owners, Brian and Lisa were very hospitable and made time to acquaint me with the property and its amenities, including a surprise basket of goodies in the fridge and a binder filled with need-to-know property info and places of interest around town. The ground-floor unit had A/C, a full kitchen with microwave and gas range, a large bathroom and a king bed with plenty of storage space. There is free wi-fi and laundry. They will provide transportation to and from the airport or ferry landing. They made several recommendations for dining that were spot on, especially El Fogon for the best traditional Belizean foodinn San Pedro. The property is secure with a locked gateway in the perimeter wall in addition to the unit's door lock. It's located on a mostly quiet side street away from the main road, yet still conveniently located to downtown, restaurants, or the beach. To cap it off, Brian and Lisa host a twice-weekly happy hour on the patio of their top-floor apartment. I can recommend this property whole-heartedly and will stay there when I return to San Pedro.

Owners were very friendly and provided lots of information and advice upon checkin. Had happy hour snacks twice weekly, and also provided each guest with a cell phone during their stay, so they could also provide information and answer guest questions via texts. Rooms were spacious and very well equipped.

Comfortable rooms, and bed. Well equipped kitchen. There is a balcony in the room but you cannot really use it (no furniture and facing a wall).

My stay at Belize Tropical Dream Villas was amazing. It is a great location, communication was quick and helpful, and Brian and Lisa had great recommendations on what to enjoy on the island. They were super welcoming and great hosts; I cannot thank them enough!

Spacious, charming and convenient. The villa is far enough from downtown to be quiet but close enough to be convenient. Brian and Lisa were fantastic hosts - they helped us with transport, booking tours and restaurant recommendations.

Very nice, clean suite with all amenities. Comfortable king bed. Owners are very helpful.

The apartment was huge and fully equipped. Some Restaurants in walking distance. You can rent also a there or a golfcart. The owner couple is very nice and helpful, they have a lot of Tipps for tours. Highly recommend.

Brian was extremely helpful with all questions and concerns we had during our stay. I would recommend this place.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in San Pedro. It was close enough to downtown to walk, take a short taxi or golf cart ride, but far enough away that you don't have any loud tourists keeping you up at night. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They made themselves available at all hours and had a little binder full of recommendations, tips and tricks for navigating the city. Our room was the perfect size, with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room area. We could have easily stayed their an entire month and never needed a thing. Highly recommend this place!

Lisa and Brian were amazing hosts. They go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. They arranged our transportation from the airport which took the pressure off of trying to arrange our own. We loved their little get together for snacks and took us to play trivia!

Brian and Lisa were great hosts! Lisa is an amazing cook and invited everyone up for appetizers one night we were there. They offered plenty of great tips on everything we should do while staying at Ambergris Caye (pronounced key) and had a golf cart ready when I arrived. Make sure you rent a golf cart 100%. Kevin at the Crazy Canuck is a great bartender and their wings are top notch! Overall great stay and I look forward to returning one day.
