Caribbean Shores Bed & Breakfast

Piscina pulita ma scrostata, comunque impraticabile a causa delle mosche della sabbia. La stanza che avevamo prenotato ("luxury"!) era praticamente un seminterrato, basso, buio e odoroso di muffa. Poi dalla seconda notte ci hanno spostato in uno spazioso, confortevole, appartamento al primo piano. Facile accesso alla spiaggia e agli ombrelloni dei vicini resort

This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :). This property is a little ways out of Hopkins Village proper, but there are restaurants in short walking distance. It's also not on the beach, but we weren't looking for that since we liked the location for access to Bocawina/Mayflower, the Jaguar Preserve, and other sites.

Roaches came out as soon as I turned the lights off. Had to leave a night early.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and good. The grounds are well maintained and just a shortwalk down the trail, you are at the beach!

I have been to this property 3 times now. The first and second time everything was clean and service was great. This time around was not. The bathrooms had mold on the shower wall and the floor grout was black. The refrigerator door was so caked with grease and dirt it came off on your hand when you opened the door. The utensils were greasy too. When I went to grab forks, I had to wash my hands due to the grease I guess that were all over them. The ice machine was broken so we were offered 1 ice cube tray for 6 people. There were no amenities. No hair dryer, no shampoo, no conditioner, no tissues or lotion. We had one towel and wash cloth a piece and were not given or offered any more. Our trash was not emptied while we were there. When we drove by 2 days later the bag was still sitting outside. We ended up leaving once another place had availability.

The staff are excellent. They go above and beyond. The condition of the property needs maintenance but thats a owner problem. The breakfasts and the interior rooms are what gives this place its 5 stars. The willingness of the staffto help is like no where else. Highly recommend if you like your independence on a holiday.

Nice place to stay in Hopkins. Staff are very friendly. The rooms (we had to swritch rooms) are super clean. Pool was also very clean. Other parts of the grounds are a bit tired. The breakfast was okay, but lacked variety. Coffee was terrible; but I coffee was terrible everywhere we stayed in Belize.

The room was surprisingly nice and they provided breakfast (eggs, beans, tortilla & sausage) but the pool was too cold to swim. To get to the beach, you needed to walk thru another resort's premises but it wasn't far. They had bikes on the premises that we could use. Mine was decent but the bike my husband used was in bad shape. Instead of a desk they had an extra bed. Office doesn't open until 9 AM so if you want to check out early or need use of the bikes, etc. before then, make prior arrangements.

The property needs mayor maintenance. The people works is really friendly.

Really nice well kept old building, classic architecture with a lot of charm. The entire staff is fantastic Georgina makes you breakfast every morning always perfect. Extremely helpful other travelers were very friendly. The pool is immaculate. It is by far the best place for the dollar in Hopkins

The attitude of the staff was pleasant.

We like the hospitality of the host. There was an emergency situation for us in the middle of the night. The property provided us with a great response and assistance.

The room was clean. The bed was very low and a bit hard.

The pool was nice but jacuzzi was broken. The ac in the bedroom was broken. Dead lizard on bed. Nobody there at check in had to wait over half hour for some one. Beach was inaccessible fenced off had to ask permission from next resort. The breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly.

Staff was very nice. Good value compared to hotels in the area.

Had such a lovely time staying at the Caribbean Shores B&B! I highly recommend everyone who are looking for a great place to stay in Hopkins, this place is the right place for you, very affordable, great/friendly stuff and amazing location.
