Sea Horizon

Room and property were very clean. Service was extremely friendly, and Giselle was quick to answer questions and provide solutions to problems, such as arranging transport to the ferry upon our departure. Towels were arranged artistically with tropical flowers when we arrived. The Garifuna restaurant next door has great food and live music. The only caveats about the hotel that I'd mention is that the door to the bathroom is entirely clear glass, so there's no privacy from your travel partner when you're using the toilet. Also, the shower cubicle is pretty narrow. If you're ok with these items, it's a great place to stay.

Perfect location in the middle of everything

The room we stayed in was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed. The staff at Sea Horizon were so accommodating and helpful. A rain storm came in an they our tour company canceled our snorkeling tour. It was raining very hard and it was very windy. There were not a lot of other guest at the Sea Horizon as it was off season so they let us check out at 1 pm instead of the regular 11 am so we weren't stuff driving around in the rain. Everything was clean and it was very safe with a security guard walking the ground constantly. It was Excellent!!!

Awesome hotel! They were very accommodating whenever we needed anything and even upgraded our room for us!! Would definitely stay here again:) Very clean and comfortable room as well!

The property was nice, clean. Staff was awesome. My issue is with Expedia. Due to a medical emergency we had to leave two days early and we couldn’t get a refund for the two nights of unused hotel.

The property is a small oasis. The property is clean and the staff is very attentive guest needs. Our only regret is that there was no natural light in the room…there were no windows. However, having said that, there were plenty of opportunities to sit by the pool and take in some sun.

This hotel rooms are dirty and funiture are very old, the management need to do a lot.

After the worst experience of my life at the Caribbean Villas, their customer service made me feel so much better and welcomed.

This is a great place to stay! It is only a few minutes from the main San Pedro street and the Tropic air location. It has two restaurants right next door and a supermarket with a coffee spot across the street. The gas station is up the block as well. The staff was amazing and super helpful and accommodating in all aspect. Mr. Bairon was especially helpful, going out of his way to drop us off and pick us up and in helping us organize excursions and a golf cart rental. The pools were super clean and beautiful. This is a very safe location as they have security guard during the entire night. WiFi was great and the water was super hot with good pressure. Would definitely recommend this location. We would stay here again. They also have a free water filter to fill up your jugs!

Bairon and front desk staff were amazing. They helped with everything we needed. Restaurant next door was perfect. 2 pools to choose from, comfy beds and top notch air conditioning. 10/10 recommens

Sea Horizon hotel was very lovely and lively. The staff was very polite and attentive with anything that we needed and had great recommendations.

Our stay at the Sea Horizon was not pleasant; we ended up checking out early due to several factors. Upon arriving, we were greeted by an overpowering air freshener smell in our rooms. Even after removing the source of the smell, every single item we brought into the room smelled like air freshener, and the smell was still overpowering. What affected us the most however, was the noise coming from the downstairs area around the hotel. The hotel advertises itself on its website as "tranquil", but it is not. It was extremely loud, even with our doors and windows shut, with amplified music, karaoke, and drum circles until after midnight. It was so loud we could not sleep. Additionally, the hotel website says that the deluxe rooms in which we stayed overlook "lush landscaped gardens", and that each room "has either a private balcony or verandah", and neither room had any of these features. Our experience was one of stress and discomfort, not knowing when or if we would get any sleep, and generally being uncomfortable due to the smell and the room not matching the description. I recommend skipping the Sea Horizon - our experience in San Pedro improved dramatically after we relocated to a different property.

Staff was amazing and very helpful! Older property. Room had an old, mold, mildew, musty smell. I had to burn candles, buy fabuloso, and spay air freshener to mask the scent. When I returned home the scent from the room was lingering in my bags. I had to leave my luggage in the garage to air out the smell. Hot water in the shower took forever to get hot.

This is a very clean and nice property. I came to San Pedro for diving. It was very close to my dive center, about 600 meters away. I had to be at center by 6.30 and 5.30.

Top notch hotel. Would stay with them again!

One call or message to Bairon and Michelle at the front desk, will organize everything you need, navigate the local culture, cuisine, excursions, or at top-drawer resto, club cart, taxi, or safe directions for local Island A-Caye walking to and fro. I can't say enough about the genuine caring local people's genuine caring, compassion, and kindness. Be kind!
