Lovely hotel with lovely staff

The property is beautiful, with charming architecture that blends traditional Khmer design and modern comfort. My room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with local touches that made it feel both cozy and elegant. The garden and pool area were peaceful and lush, a perfect retreat after exploring Battambang. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The location is also ideal—tucked away just enough to be quiet and relaxing, but still within walking distance or a short tuk-tuk ride to everything in town. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Battambang.

Hotel was s bit tired but nice. Good food and drinks

We loved our stay in our cute little bungalow. Beautiful place to relax at the pool after a day out. Great location. Only complaint is that it is a bit loud because the bungalows are not very sound proof.

Old but beautiful building , in need of tender loving face lift and care , specially the shower. Limited restaurant menu option and slow service . Rooms facing road could be quite noisy . Receptionist was very polite and helpful.

Die Unterkunft selber ist wirklich sehr gut: sauber, schön eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Besitzer war total freundlich. Das Frühstück fand ich etwas langweilig, etwas mehr Auswahl/ Abwechslung wäre toll. Die Qualität war aber sehr gut! Einziges wirkliches Manko des Hotels ist die Lage. Etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum direkt neben einer Disko/Nachtclub. Dadurch war es nachts leider sehr laut. Trotz Ohrstöpseln war es leider sehr schwierig, einzuschlafen. Ich war allerdings über ein Wochenende in Battambang, es kann sein, dass es unter der Woche etwas ruhiger ist.

Vieraanvarainen ja ystävällinen hotelli, jossa loistava allas, allasbaari ja ruoka. Sijainti hieman syrjässä, mutta josta periaatteessa kävelee keskustaan tarvittaessa.

Bel hôtel dans un très beau cadre. La chambre donnant sur la piscine avec un balcon est très agréable et propre. La literie est un peu ferme mais c'est un point personnel. C'est un peu bruyant la nuit. On y mange très bien.

Tres bel hôtel avec une piscine agréable, personnel accueillant et professionnel, les chambres sont grandes, trés propres, la cuisine est à la hauteur de l'établissement. Un seul bémol: l'environnement est trés bruyant.

The restaurant is excellent and we recommend it. The bar has character and the owner is very obliging. We had room 18 which had a private balcony and in the morning the sun was filtered by the bamboo growing along the fence. When we left the owner gave us two bottles of water for our trip back to Phnom Penh. Just be careful the tiles on the steps for the pool can be slippery. Wifi is very poor.

The rooms really had a romantic authentic feel. The staff were friendly and helped us figure out where to go and visit. The menu was great offering both Cambodian and western meals. The outside bar was a great place to hangout with friends by the pool. The air conditioning and the WiFi in the rooms were great. We really like that they are environmentally friendly and trying to reduce plastic waste. We will come back next time we're in Battambang.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, but limited choice. Pool area pleasant. Restaurant food was good and cocktails the best we have had in Cambodia.

The Bamboo hotel is like an oasis in the midst of a City under road construction. Thanks to the hospitality of owner Pat and his staff - we enjoyed a relaxing time by the beautiful pool, a fun happy hour with lots of interesting people, and a fantastic dinner on the patio. Highly recommend the hotel - although the drive there is long. Also recommend a yuk yuk tour with Bun. We rode the original bamboo train and met some local people - so authentic- it made us love Battambang. A great place to experience the real Cambodian people outside of the bus loads of tourists.

Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay here. The room was very comfortable and the pool very welcome after a day out and about. The bar is where it all happens and draws people in for its Happy Hour from 5 to 7. Pat - the hotel owner is very hospital. And the cocktails great. Breakfast service was a bit ‘loose’ and a little perfunctory but still provided a good start to the day. Walk into town is about 20 minutes or 5 via a tuk tuk. We would be very happy to return.

La maison d'Ambres à vieilli et mériterait un peu d'entretien. Notre chambre n'était pas propre et les draps douteux. Il y a sans doute mieux à Phnom Penh.

Our experience started with a free tuk tuk pick up from the bus station to transfer us to the hotel where we were met by the friendly and efficient Satha who quickly checked us in. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a typical hard bed. The hotel is in a quiet location yet is still walking distance to the main tourist area. It also has a bar featuring daily happy hours and a restaurant with both Asian and western dining options. The food was of good quality and the staff friendly, attentive and efficient. The desk staff were also friendly and very helpful in organising tuk tuks, tours and transfers. I would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others.
