I see negative reviews for Blackcomb Lodge because you have to pay for parking. Well, you have to pay to parks all over in the area.
I see reviews about the building being locked all the time. This hotel is located in a great location with many bars and restaurants in close proximity. Even though it’s a safe area, it needs to be locked!!
When we were there the Msnager was off, but the staff we dealt with were nothing short of perfect!!!

It was centrally located in the village so close to most things. The staff were very friendly and room was comfortable and clean. My only issue is the insane daily parking cost.

Great location but management make you feel like you are renting in a hostel vs hotel. Treat well paying guests like students. I was there for a conference and they giving us rules. Not something you ever hear from a notable hotel brand.

Okay stay. Not overly loud, rooms are a bit tired and need a refresh/deep clean of the bathroom. Suite was handy to avoid eating out all the time. Close to all amenities was nice.

This property is really run down. The rooms were not clean. Shower was dirty with hair and debris from previous guest, mirrors were dirty as well. The heat in the rooms is a huge pain as the fan runs intermittently and kicks on every 5 minutes, no option to let it run. Turned it off so we could sleep because it was loud and disruptive. I asked our friends who were staying here as well and they had the same problems in their rooms. Given the price I'd rather spend more to stay at a neighboring hotel that's less tired and has more professional staff working at it. When I commented that the room was dirty the front desk clerk didn't seem to care, as though he had heard the complaints before. The location was a perk but aside from that, I'd never stay here again.

The unit was dirty look like not clean, not mop the floor, toilet dirty and the manager just take a toilet paper and clean what I mention for him. Never back to clean properly.
Bring a beers to apologize but like a that beers was living in other room.
Pool is open 10 am and the check out is 10 am.
Manager attitude was cero gentle. And we pay $700 dlls night was not cheap.

It’s a Party Night club you can here all the people out in the village and when they come back from the cubs they keep parting in the rooms and the hotel hallways screaming and slamming doors it’s good if you don’t plan to rest or sleep join them .unit #214 if on level 2 in front of the elevator you can here everyone that get off that floor every time they a have a $250 fee for any load noise after 10pm until 8am they might charge the people but don’t give you as customer any discount for the headache you pass in the hotel they did move to another room far away from the party group and could still here them at 2am the next night and the bed mattress was in poor conditions and could not rest #240 I’ll never return 2 night was a nightmare not a Family place to get sleep

doors to lobby are always locked which means if you are trying to check in you need to cheat front desk. Keys stopped working middle of the night so one family member was stuck in the stairwell in minus weather, pool water temperature was 19- 20 degrees c according to my Garmin watch. It is way too cold for us to be Able to use it. I stayed at Blackomb Lodge previously and iit must be under new management. we had a very cheap customer service experience. Only one tiny soap for a room that supposedly is for 6 people, freezing pool temperature... will definitely not stay here again

Booked through Expedia, when we arrived the property told me we only have paid for two registered guests. They charged an extra $116 for our 2 children per night. Our TV also did not work. We called the front desk and she tried to troubleshoot over the phone. After a couple minutes she told us that someone would come up and fix it. After 30 minutes, we called again and she said they are on their way. We waited another 30 minutes without anyone showing up.

Before booking here you should be aware of a couple things. The hotel loves to emphasise that guests are not welcome to visit you when you are staying here. On the day I checked out I asked if I could leave my suitcase at reception for a few hours. I was told this would incur an additional $50 charge. The front of the hotel is in disrepair and it looks like no gardening has been done in a while and nobody has swept the walkway in some time. Fairly disappointing.
