We were very happy with our stay at Casa Bella and it has become one of our favorite hotels in downtown Montreal. The location is excellent - less than a 5 minute walk to Place des Arts where there is always something fun and interesting to do/see/hear. There was a medium/small fridge with a separate freezer in our room as well as a microwave. There is a supermarket right across the street and it was really nice to have free parking in the lot behind the hotel. We were able to lock the bicycles we brought with us there as well. It was a little quirky to access it via the 2 story fire escape, but it worked out fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious and had a full closet, shelves, and a dresser. We were disappointed that there was no separate receptacle for recyclables and the hallway and stairway carpeting is very well worn, but we plan to return.

This is an old building at a budget price. However the staff were helpful, the parking was included, the shower pressure and temp were great, the position is central, the bed was fine and the bathroom was clean (if a little tatty). The fridge worked, the coffee was good but the air con was definately immaginary(it was very hot) There was construction/road repairs outside which was noisy but not the hotel's fault. Basically a good deal especially for location and parking.

The ac would onky be turned on when asked of not the room is muggy and smells . They have an issue with the toilet as does not flush for the entire period of stay.. and was not resolved. Room is noisy as facws the main street. Has a very steep staircase .. I would expect a refund for inconvience caused due to the toilet being non usablw and inabilotu to flush afger use.. we had to go to the tims close by everytime and was ridiculous

Good location. Staff nice However, … No air conditioning, no USB outlets, carpets are filthy, smell of urine in the hall, phone with no receiver, faucets in the washroom were loose, 4 lightbulbs missing.

For price property was adequate. If you have limited mobility be aware there are a lot of stairs, to front door and if you are on 2nd floor or higher. There is no elevator.

Overall, I don’t like my stay. Hygiene of the toilet is very poor, no free toothpaste, nor coffee, the price per night stay seems not fit with the complimentary provided. No free water bottle at least. The bed sheets seems buy it Walmart.

The room was not clean. There were hair in the bathroom and on the towel provided. No drinking water bottle was in the room. No lift but the receptionists provided support for the luggage. The carpet on the staircase looked very old. Overall for 150€ a night the deal is expensive even if they are located in the city center

A very old facility. Stairs only, even to get to the front entrance. Office staff were kind and helpful. Shared bathroom on upper floors. We had our own ensuite…tub and shower. The floor under the bed was very dirty. House keeping obviously doesn’t look under there. Bed was comfortable. Located “down town “ in Westmount.
