I’ve travelled here 5 or 6 times and will keep coming back. The convenience of having the hotel, two restaurants above Koena Spa is priceless. Price is reasonable, service is great and love the rooms. Also, love the EV charger at the side.Hot tips for spa travellers in winter. - bring your own Nespresso or portable coffee machine. I LOVE coffee. Though it’s a cute gesture. Their coffee tastes like ass. And not good ass. - there is a gorgeous little fridge. 5km past Koena is a magical supermarket with a brilliant charcuterie section. Do yourself a favour, load up with snacks and a 24 of White claws. Also, buy cream and milk for your coffee machine (they only have whitener) - Bring a yeti or Stanley so you can take your white claws into the spa. - Bring two toques for the spa (one gets wet) Enjoy!!

I had to fix the radiator myself but it was too late it was the morning couldn't sleep all night freezing cold dirty for that price range

Unfortunately no hot water and the room temperature was cool - couldn’t turn the heat up!

Beautiful property. Received a surprise free room upgrade which was great. However the room was cold and took forever to warm up, a lot of noise from the floor above my room late into the night and banging started again at 6 am. But otherwise I enjoyed my stay and will return

The hallway outside the main floor room was a bit noisy in the morning. Everything else is amazing!

Un micro-ondes est manquant et serait pratique…. Pas de restaurants près sauf à 15 minutes… mais ils en ont 2 restaurants à l’hôtel ….

Hôtel très décevant. Rapport qualité-prix très médiocre. La suite était plus qu'ordinaire. La table du salon et les verres étaient sales et le service à la réception quelconque. Je ne retournerai plus au Château Cartier. Heureusement qu'il y a le spa. La prochaine fois je logerai dans un autre hôtel pour aller au SPA.

Great hotel on the Quebec side of the Ottawa river. Super easy check-in and very friendly and helpful staff. My one complaint is that my “Do Not Disturb” sign was ignored.
