I would recommend Courtyard Marriott on Upper James in Ancaster,the rooms were inviting;clean and very comfortable.The only suggestion would be a microwave in the rooms.The staff were so friendly.I will be booking again in March

We did enjoy our stay.
I suggest that you add small microwave ovens to the service / ice machine areas at the elevators. A continental breakfast should be included in the price I paid for the room.
Your restaurant is far, far too expensive.

The room was nice and clean.
The breakfast was okay - I would probably recommend going off site. The food came out within 5 min of us ordering - which makes us assume it was prepped and heated up.
The hotel is under serious renovations, so keep that in mind.
There is no soundproofing, so you will hear everyone in the hallway throughout the night.

Under construction! Plastic everywhere! Lossy full of kids playing hockey. Problem with TV. No breakfast that we prepaid for. Plug in sink jammed and maintenance could not fix. Room keys were not keyed correctly.

The property was under renovation - no dining options. We did not realize this until we arrived for our stay. As you can imagine, loud noises (during working hours) as the hotel updates are being completed

The bar and lobby were under major construction. The computers were down when we tried to check in. Shipping containers were everywhere. The parking lot was half filled with them. The staff gave us a renovated room which was terrific. Thus the glowing review of the staff. None of this was mentioned on Expedia when we booked. Very disappointed. However the staff was awesome. If you would like to have us back when the work is done we would come. Our grandkids live in Hamilton and we need a place to stay for the night. Feel free to reach out to me. Cheers

I went on Expedia site to book this room. I was looking for a hotel with o restaurant and with breakfast; paid expidia extra for the breakfast. There is no restaurant or breakfast available at this hotel. I have 8am 4hr exam tomorrow morning. I expect a full refund from Expidia for this screw up.

I arrived to find all the guests outside due to the hotel being flooded and no power. I had prepaid for this trip and was redirected to another hotel. I was assured that I would be provided with a full refund, I have called and emailed the hotel twice now and have yet to hear back. I’ve also contacted Expedia several times via chat and by phone and I was hung up on repeatedly due to technical difficulties. This was NOT a good experience at all. No due diligence what so ever!! Would not recommend either!!
