Ghalib Homestay

Stay away at all costs. Me and my friend have stayed in this accommodation for 2 nights and each night I have woken up with bed bug bites on my neck and head. Until the owner decides to throughly clean the bathroom, rooms and beds in general I would highly avoid staying here. There is little to no privacy since one of the rooms is half separated by a flimsy wall and therefore any movement is easily heard That being said the price is fair and no safety concerns at all. This is really a last resort cheap place to stay!

There was lack of parking on this property! Was unable too park in front of the house due to the fact of a bunch of rowdy teens outside the spot and had to park elsewhere which cost me getting my car towed due to lack of parking… I don’t think that’s right .. If you are hosting a hotel service make sure that there are parking for people too avoid issues like this

Great option for a trip to Toronto. Room was clean and tidy, towels provided. 10 min walk to nearest subway that takes you directly into the city centre. Would recommend!

Bedroom was a front porch. Shared bthroom was located through a locked door and down in the basement. Room smelled like it had been fumigated when I first arrived.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! . I arrived at night because flight delate , I notified owner few hours prior about it . Rude Man met me at the door and start bargaining on a "late charge " $100 witch amount is not indicated and can be as much as he wants and on a payment for a keys ( I did not have deposit $20 in cash ) and he wants to add $ 25 to the price of stay. After I was agreed to pay late charge but promise to get cash for a key in the morning he kicked me with my child outside on a street at 3 am ! Telling that Expedia will not support me with complaints or refunds and frightening me that I will stay on a street calling Expedia and eventually he will charge me as much as he wants or cancel my reservation because I arrived late . I end up CALLING POLICE and Expedia . Expedia is not care about clients , if you arrived late then host can cancel you reservation or charge late fee as much as he wants . Police told me that they dealing REGULARLY with calls regarding bad behaviour of this host from visitors .SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE . I received my money back after police talk to host .

The owner is very kind and accomodating. The house is very clean, comfortable, and very secure. Excellent service! Highly recommend this place.

This room is a basement. The noise is so loud and the bed is so loud that one person can roll over and wake up the person next to them.

Small but cozy place to stay if you are looking for a day or two day trip. The owner was very kind.

The place is a death trap. Rooms are in basement with very narrow winding staircase. The fire exit is locked (serious violation), and all windows only open six inches. A death trap if a fire stats upstairs. He needs to be shut down.

Don't stay here. It's horrible. They cancelled my reservation and couldn't even call me and let me know

I was able to check into the very friendly Ghalib Homestay early with little to no issues at all, the homestay was great, the room was a little warm, however the staff had given me a fan to use in advance to ensure the room was cool. Onsite facilities were clean, tidy and great to use! There was public transport very close by to use which I found extremely helpful.

Very Good rooms. Comfortable, clean and all facilities available there. near local stores and transportation.

I has now been 2 times that i have stayed there, its a really nice and affordable place, the owner is a nice guy, good service, i will defenitly come back, no complaints at all

The room is in the basement and looked nothing like the picture. It was poorly decorated and tiny with no real furniture, not even a chair. The matress was said to be new, but was incredibly uncomfortable and even noisy, so obviously of very low quality. Even with the vent closed, the room was too hot. There was no curtain over the window. There is one bathroom for three rooms. There is no privacy as the owner washes her clothes etc just outside the door. And at only 5-10, I had to duck under doorways. On the positive side, the Filipino owner was OK personality-wise and the room was relatively clean. But all in all, the place is a dump. I don't have unusually high standards, but I could not recommend this establishment to anyone. Indeed, my wife and I checked in around 8 and left by 11 the same night. And, I suspect most of the positive reviews are fake.

The room did not look like the pic. It was tiny, in the basement, with a low ceiling and a doorway I had to duck under even as a 5-11 guy, it had a horrible mattress and no real furniture, not even a chair, it was overheated even with the vent closed, it had a bathroom shared with three other rooms, no real privacy with the owner washing clothes outside the door, and a window having no curtain.

アクセスは少し悪いけど静かな住宅街だった。 民家をホテルに改造した感じのホテルだったためパッと見ではどこがホテルか分からなかった。 ドアは暗証番号のため何時でも出入り可能。 自販機やレンジ等があるため買ってきたものを温めたりはできる。 従業員が親切だった。
