Clean room!

View from the balcony was great but the outside noise was so loud that we were forced to keep the balcony door closed. The height of the toilet was so low that I (85 yrs old) had to practically fall on it and now it was difficult to get up. Distant to things very hard for anyone who has difficulty walking.

Few little issues but we were told they were looking into it and we were granted a check out of 1 pm in exchange which worked for us.

Bathroom fixtures were a bit tired looking, room was spacious

Location

The hotel was hosting a large group of young lacrosse players attending a tournament in the city, and unfortunately the behaviour throughout the property was completely out of control. Children were running up and down the hallways unrestrained late into the evening and early in the morning. At one point, nets were actually set up in the second-floor hallway and a lacrosse game was taking place indoors. It was unbelievable that this was allowed to continue without intervention from hotel management. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no hot water in the morning, making it impossible to shower. Before checking out, we attempted to have breakfast in the restaurant, where food was being served buffet-style. Young kids were reaching into the bacon container with their bare hands, which was completely unsanitary and unacceptable. We immediately decided to leave and went to a local restaurant instead. What was most disappointing was the apparent lack of any management presence or effort to monitor and correct behaviour throughout the hotel. The atmosphere felt chaotic, with little regard for other guests trying to enjoy a peaceful stay. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

It was a nice space

We had a wonderful stay, very clean property, friendly staff. I love that our room was clean everyday. I enjoy the pool, sauna and hot tub some of the reasons I chose to stay here. The waterfront view was very pleasant even though it was still cold and raining while we were there. All and all a great time.

Nice location by the river. Lots of parking

Stay was fine. Hot tub broken, breakfast pretty expensive for option..best to go across street to diner. Rooms and property dated, nice that on waterfront

By far the best breakfast buffet we ever had. Staff were very friendly and helpfulz

Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast for two for $30 was not worth the price; was typical sausage and scrambled eggs, usually offered for free at other hotels. Otherwise the hotel was clean.

We use this hotel when the family needs a little break from the day to day and the kids would benefit from some pool time. Its located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Love the view of river which you can enjoy from the hotel and walking path. The pool area needs some tlc and you can tell the property has been here for a long time. With that said, our room has always been clean and the staff at the front desk are kind and helpful.
