While The Willo is definitely not a luxury property, it is modern, attractive, clean, and wonderfully well located. Well priced single rooms are still roomy enough for solo travellers and I never had to wait to use the well maintained hall bathrooms and showers! The friendly staff were terrific and allowed me a late checkout. It was good to stay at a hotel with a “social conscious” that gives back to the community! Two blocks from the skytrain and right downtown!

I have never expected to get a room Which doesn’t have a shower or even a bathroom for the amount I paid. I wish it was explained while booking, I could have chose another option. At the property, I asked the reception to upgrade me to a room with those facilities but I was told that I have to cancel my initial reservation with no refund and book as new. Just terrible

Extremely clean and well maintained. Great location. Some rooms may have attached bathroom but ours was in hallway. Nothing wrong with that but only 2 showers and one toilet on our floor (8th) and could use more. Room off lobby for coffee and food machines pretty small so plan on that. Plenty of food places in area. Staff extremely helpful in getting Uber for us and walked us out to show us where to stand etc. Very good value for the money.

Know how to operate a Nespresso machine! Coffee shops close enough to get a real cuppa first thing. Be careful booking your room if you need a private bathroom!

Not recommended. I paid $234 for one night and was disappointed with the experience. The room did not have a private washroom, which was not good value for the price. The hotel was also very noisy, and the walls seemed to have little to no soundproofing, making it difficult to rest. For the amount charged, I expected much better comfort and privacy. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

While The Willo is definitely not a luxury property, it is modern, attractive, clean, and wonderfully well located. Well priced single rooms are still roomy enough for solo travellers and I never had to wait to use the well maintained hall bathrooms and showers! The friendly staff were terrific and allowed me a late checkout. It was good to stay at a hotel with a “social conscious” that gives back to the community! Two blocks from the skytrain and right downtown!

Room too small for the price paid.. and I asked assistance for a lost thing ( documents ) into the room and nobody gave me answer and reply… very bad Customer Care.

We had a wonderful experience at the Willo Hotel! And...my car fit in the parking garage. (Height max is under 6' 8" or 203.2 cm, in case you are wondering). The hotel is right next to the stadium and within walking distance to an amazing collection of restaurants in the Yale district. The area feels safe. You are also within a short walk of a Costco if you have something you forgot to bring. Not too far from water taxis. I will be back.

Well located, room was clean. The downside was the share bathroom with loud neighbours. Bathroom doors should be less noisy. Overall I thought it was overpriced.

The shared bathroom is a bit weird in that it is not down the hall like i expected instead a toilet and shower shared with the adjacent room and controlled by an electric locking system. Not great. You can easily hear the person using the bathroom from your room and the security/locking system is disconcerting. Would have preferred a toilet down the hall. The shared kitchen on the floor was a joke. A tiny windowless room with nothing more than a kettle. No cups, cutlery etc. But otherwise clean place. Good value for downtown vancouver.

I booked a room with a shared bathroom. It was actually very clean and never taken when I wanted to use it, so that was fine. Only thing I didn’t think of is there is also no toilet in the room, so you have to go out in the hallway in the middle of the night. But clean, and easy access so that is an option to stay cheaper in the center of town. Location is great, it has everything within walking distance.

I have never expected to get a room Which doesn’t have a shower or even a bathroom for the amount I paid. I wish it was explained while booking, I could have chose another option. At the property, I asked the reception to upgrade me to a room with those facilities but I was told that I have to cancel my initial reservation with no refund and book as new. Just terrible

Extremely clean and well maintained. Great location. Some rooms may have attached bathroom but ours was in hallway. Nothing wrong with that but only 2 showers and one toilet on our floor (8th) and could use more. Room off lobby for coffee and food machines pretty small so plan on that. Plenty of food places in area. Staff extremely helpful in getting Uber for us and walked us out to show us where to stand etc. Very good value for the money.
