Mountain Side Hotel Whistler by Executive

When we checked into our room the toilet had not been flushes and looked aa though the bathroom hadn't fully been cleaned. Late in the evening we tried to use the pull out sofa however the sheets clearly weren't fresh as there were crumpled up used sheets in the bed. It was late at night after being out all day and we were exhausted so decided just to share the upstairs bed. I would not feel comfortable staying here again. I would not want to trust them to provide clean linens. It was run down and has a bit of a smell in the hallways Close to all the shops and restaurants so that part nice.

When checking in … the lady that helped us was very friendly and informative. First impression walking through the door was “whoa, this looks old” Everything looked and was outdated. Plus side is they have assigned stalls so if you leave you don’t have to worry about not having a stall when you get back.

Clean room, convenient, our room was right across from the elevator. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.

Although the rooms seem to be in need of a good deep clean, the property itself is good for value and location. The heated pool and hot tub is a perfect treat after a day on the slopes. The loft suite has a private sauna & kitchenette. And the staff are great. I just encourage the owners to give the rooms a thorough clean. It is needed.

Large clean one bedroom. No shower in second bathroom which as weird. Older hotel but it is well maintained. Hot tub and pool were great after skiing.

Loved our stay! It’s a great place to stay when ur with family. It’s close to shopping and the lift. I would definitely stay again!

Quiet and clean very central right in village

Honestly pretty disappointed. They advertised the building better. Our room was stinky, broken, and dirty and it took them over few hours to check us in. It was okay for one night but more no

Hotel was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants, things to do and directions. Enjoyed our stay and loved that the hotel was pretty much centrally located within the village. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location

This hotel is great. A great value and the location is only beaten by a few more expensive hotels. Lovely staff all you need is here. My only warning is that we booked a family loft which is overall great with kitchen and eating area. It was for myself and 18 year old daughter. The sleeper sofa is not a good one and probably only good for 10-13 year olds and below. So my daughter slept with me as the sleeper sofa has no support and hurt her back. Other than that great gas fireplace with sauna in unit and close to everything. I would sta here again just do something different bed wise rather than sleeper sofa.

Amazing location, spacious suite with a jacuzzi and a full kitchen, also comes with two fireplaces which was a nice surprise. The suite was very comfortable and cozy, it felt like we could stay there long-term. Pool and hot tub were open but we didn’t get a chance to try them because it was raining, so next time! Would love a mountain view, but couldn’t complain. Would highly recommend staying here.

Stag was friendly and enjoy the pool and hot tub. Out bath tub might need a good scrub as there was some lines under the soap holder. All else was great.

Great place for pets, spacious rooms/suites which are especially comfortable for larger dogs. Very friendly and accommodating staff! :)

We went into our stay here with realistic expectations based on other reviews and were not expecting a 5 star experience but we had issues we were not expecting and because of those would definitely not stay here again. Pros: - the best thing about this location is the proximity to the ski lifts. It's a very short walk! - there is a small kitchen if you like to bring some of your own food Cons: - THE NOISE!!! While the proximity to the lifts is great, you also should be aware that the bar across the street plays loud music until 2 am and we had to listen to drunk people yelling outside our window for another 45 min after that. The windows are very old and have literally no insulation. We talked to the receptionist about this and they offered ear plugs which helped for the second night but honestly, you shouldn't need ear plugs to sleep when you are paying a few hundred a night. - the bed was also pretty uncomfortable. It felt more like a rollout bed and we both sank into the middle of it. - the tv is very old and didn't work well. The tv didn't seem to respond at all to the remote. -the wait time for the elevator in insane. I know that seems like a petty complaint but when it takes 5 min every time you want to use it, you resort to carrying things up and down the stairs.

The furniture is old, the room is super noisy, the staff was not helpful.

All was good except my room had smelled like someone heated fish in the microwave. It remained smelly my entire stay and they were fully booked with no spare room. I sprayed air freshener and had the windows open the entire time- did not work. There should be a rule- no cooking or heating up fish in the rooms. They did comp my parking which was a nice gesture and appreciated.
