Sandman Hotel Red Deer

Staff was courteous at check-in, with lots of information. We were in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was great! Got a discount at Moxie‘s for staying at the hotel, would definitely return.

The staff, were awesome, they went out of their way to accommodate me. I would recommend the Sandman hotel. I had never felt so taken care of at a hotel before.

Hachim at the front Desk was awesome !! He took the time to do it right !!!

Everything was as expected.

Our room had a kitchenette, bedroom in a separate room , and walk thru bathroom. Loved the room! It was clean and bed was comfy. Great location. Moxies attached great food. Our third time staying and will stay again. Prices reasonable. Had pool and hot tub but did take part.

I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding our recent two-night stay at the Sandman Hotel in Red Deer, Alberta. Upon arrival, we were initially assigned a room with visibly stained bedding and urine on the toilet seat. This was unacceptable and immediately reported. While we were disappointed, we do appreciate that staff promptly moved us to another room. The second room was cleaner; however, the refrigerator was not functioning. Staff were again helpful and provided a working fridge so that we could safely store food and medications. Additionally, we were informed upon arrival that the pool and hot tub were closed. These amenities were the primary reason we chose to book this hotel, and this closure was not clearly communicated at the time of booking. Although the staff were professional, courteous, and accommodating throughout our stay, the overall condition of the room and the lack of access to advertised amenities significantly affected our experience. Due to these issues, we will not be returning. Given the circumstances, I am requesting appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort experienced during our stay. I would also appreciate a response outlining how this matter will be addressed.

No breakfast. Pool and hot tub down for renovations. Staff was fantastic. Our original room, the door didn’t shut so the staff upgraded us to a new room no charge.

Ice and snow removal by entrances none existence extremely dangerous walking on the ice to get to one of the doors very poor

This was an excellent place to stay! Their Internet doesn’t work very well which is a bit annoying. But everything else is top notch

Bath tub tap in our room was coming away from the wall and had lots of calcium buildup that has not been cleaned off for a while. Was scared to use the shower

It was a great stay. The front desk was great and very friendly and helpful. I’m not sure but on the 25th of December this guy behind the desk was great!!

King sized bed but sheets and blankets were wrong size (too small)

Staff was very pleasant and positive! Kudos to their team! Plus beds were very comfy!
