Super 8 by Wyndham Prince George

The room smells like piss. It was so nasty. The bathroom was not very clean only one towel and a big long black hair in the bed.

The staff was excellent and very helpful and welcoming with our children. Thank you!

Given bathtub that didn't drain. No menu on tv so had to hunt one channel at a time to find anything. Towel was dirty and stained and given to my room for usage

The toilet and shower backed up

The room itself was clean, as were the linens. Bed was saggy (old). I learned in the morning that the bathroom had a separate temperature control which had been fully ON and the entire suite was very warm. I kept the window open all night. Breakfast - not much to comment. There was yogurt, and fruit portion, sliced bread. The orange dispenser simply dispensed water. The coffee maker would take a number of minutes... maybe 5, to get a small cup of coffee. I gave up on waiting in line to get a coffee and headed off to a restaurant.

Beds need replacing. Otherwise clean quiet place to rest!

Hotel was dirty.

Check in- poor- arrived at 4:00 and room not ready- still being cleaned. Room condition- poor- toilet not bolted to the floor. Breakfast- only eggs were cold, boiled and shells all cracked. Parking- total mess- could hardly manoeuvre out in the morning. Added to our “never again” list

First of all. The front desk lady was a bit rude. There was no elevator. I lugged to children up those stairs for 2 days. There were damages that gave me a scratch on my arm. The hotel definitely needs some repairs or upgrades!. I will not be staying there again until then

The room looked like it was under construction. Spackling smears all over the walls. The tub needs, replaced, the bed was very well worn and lumpy, and there was one super tiny window to the outside and there was no screen. The restaurant on premises was great!

Parking was great, room was clean, staff were great to deal with. Only negative we did not have any towels in our room and more selection for the breakfast for example eggs and decaf coffee or teas would be nice.

Parking was aweful! Most of the lot was all over flo cars from the Ford dealership, room door lock was broken. The comforter and sheets had stains. Breakfast was not great. Need more options. Like bagels even,, now the building was old so walls not very sound proof. Many other guests were very noisy and heard banging doors and loud talking and music, loud tvs. So if u need quiet DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

Before this hotel was the super 8 it was Esther’s. It has a flourishing and unique eco system within this building with healthy palm trees and other tropical plants, streams that flowed in and around them and throughout the hotel. It was warm and humid and felt like you’d stepped into a jungle. There were multiple pools, 2 hot tubs, a sauna and there were families with children running and laughing and playing everywhere. Now? The hot tubs are boarded up with plywood, the sauna says it’s in use but it’s beside the drained hot tub and surrounded by other closed off areas and there was no indication it was actually useable. The one pool that they’ve kept open was cold and dirty and our kids decided they werent chances going in there! With a large hotel with many rooms we were maybe one of six others in it. I’ve never been compelled to write a bad review like this but super 8 has failed miserably at keeping this hotel alive. The only improvement that’s come from it is the carpets in the rooms were removed. And the amazing buffet breakfast Esther’s used to have? Now it’s an Indian food restaurant for dinner, and “free continental breakfast” is a yogurt cup or fruit loops and bread you can toast. Not even a waffle maker. This was the most disappointment I’ve felt and I had heard it had went downhill and was preparing for it. But this was much worse. Two thumbs down to super 8 for running this unique hotel into the ground.

Parking was fine breakfast area was clean but on the second morning a toaster popped a breaker and staff had no idea how to fix it so breakfast was cut of an hour before it was supposed to, on our first night a big fight broke out in courtyard right in front of our room no one did anything about it, a big sign feel right in front of us no one did anything about it, property is in terrible shape and we will never stay there again

Didn’t receive clean towels when room was cleaned, not swept floor

Towels weren’t replaced, had to ask for them after room was somewhat cleaned
