Tropical Inn

They didn’t have the right information at check-in, insisted there was nothing they could do so we checked in to the room they had. Got a hold of hotels.com, they were great and said it was the hotels mistake and to go down to the lobby. Went to the lobby, where she said we’ll have to change rooms, I explained we were already in there, use the washroom beds are pulled back, Food is in the fridge, Kids are in the pool. She insisted we need to change rooms. Did all of that, the room she put us in, still had garbage in the garbage can, empty beer cans in the recycle bin. The room was incredibly warm, that usually doesn’t bother me. I turned the thermostat down, open the window and it was still 25°C in the morning. The kids were looking forward to the pool. Couldn’t go in the hot tub, again. I don’t complain about this kind of stuff, but it was literally too hot to go in, there were bugs and beetles all over the stairwell to the waterslide, both of life and dead. I booked a lot of hotel rooms. I believe this is the second time where I’ve bothered to view because it was so bad. Thank for your time.

Yes the room was very good

My room was extremely hot. No a/c. Bathroom had mold visible coming through the wallpaper. Staff was friendly and allowed us a 12pm checkout. Smittys is a decent restaurant. Waterslide was fun.

Mostly good, only one waterslide was running. They were late to turn on the waterslide by half an hour. We also had to phone the front desk and ask for towels, there was none in the pool area.

We should have been told that the pool is closed for annual maintenance. It literally the only reason we booked this hotel… Not very happy.

Room was so hot you couldn’t get to sleep, no air conditioning as it was an inside room. Never cooled down until morning!!

The customer service was absolutely terrible. They are less than desirable to talk to and at one point didn’t want to do his job and told me just to cancel my reservation said at check in.

Arrived after 1 am. The first two rooms I was sent to were not ready for guests. Friendly staff regardless.
