The team at the front desk is very nice. They are always there to guide you, they respond quickly to your queries. The space is family friendly, well located. It is at few minutes drive from main touristic attractions. The smell in the elevator was a little challenging. A little more training for the kitchen team could be great.

The hotel is not in good condition, stained bed sheets and towels

Muy buen hotel y servicio por el precio. Buena ubicación, limpio, algunos problemas de mantenimiento. Mi única queja fue que hice la reserva con mucho tiempo (a un muy buen precio) y dias antes fue cancelada, tube que hacerla de nuevo, por un valor mas alto (no fue posible mantener el primer precio)

Une chambre vétuste louée à un prix exorbitant en raison du carnaval. Aucun accès à l’eau chaude ni aux produits de nettoyage. Le ménage se limite à faire le lit et vider la poubelle, sans même plier les serviettes, encore moins les changer.

El hotel es muy básico . Fue barato pero deberían pensar en mejorar para ser competitivos . El baño no tenía ducha era un tubo . No había agua caliente . Las habitaciones viejas . La estructura de las camas salidas y nos golpeamos muchas veces en las piernas . La ventana daba hacia donde estaban las manejadoras del aire . Feas y mal mantenidas . La cajilla de seguridad vieja . La recepcionista buena persona y el chico de los desayunos . Ayenda tiene varios hoteles en otras ciudades por lo que vi en un anuncio en la habitación pero deben mejorar en calidad de los servicios en las habitaciones . El hotel está bien ubicado pero tiene un pobre servicio .

Las sabanas aunque no parecen sucias huelen a sudado especialmente de almohadas

The accommodation looks much better in the pictures than in reality. It is not kept up properly. There was no internet connection in the rooms. When mentioning it to the staff they just pulled up their shoulders as if they were telling me they are aware but nobody is doing anything. During part of my stay all electricity was off. People got stuck in the elevator, no internet and no airconditioning in the entire building. A cockroach was found in the elevator.

The place is not like the photos, it is old bad smell can not sleep well because there is a lot Noisy and in the outskirts it is horrible not ruining this hotel unpleasant place and horrible breakfast scrambled egg with old and ham

Overall the stay was 'ok' for first visit to this part of the world. Big positives were that is was in a safe area of the city, not much going on that stretch of city block after sun goes down so no security concerns which was nice. Other positives were the friendliness of the staff despite the language gap experienced from both sides ie my limited Spanish and their limited English, the full buffet breakfast served each morning was really nice way to start each day, proximity about 2 blocks from super market (think Super Walmart or Target size and offerings of food, clothes, electronics, money exchange, etc) also a huge convenience and the cleanliness of the facilities to include the room I stayed in. The room was comfortable with a firm mattress, plenty of closet space, desk & chair, stocked mini-fridge, good a/c unit, older but working tv and clean bathroom with large shower. The water never got very warm but was tolerable and found out this is the situation for most of the city. Being that I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in some of the nicer hotels around the globe I'd have to give the Charthon a middle of the pack mark for this stay. I do want to thank their staff again for their hospitality, great people to have met for sure!

This hotel is not a 3 star hotel. It's a 2 star at best. I paid an average of $ 97.00 per night for 5 nights. This hotel has no hot water. The shower didn't have a shower head. The hotel has no pool. The temperture was 91 everyday I was there. It's not somewhere I would stay again.

This hotel is fine for a few nights. The room was clean and comfortable but it has some inconveniences.
