Okay for the younger crowd. Room was double the price because holiday week - $120 - called ‘comfort’ room - no hot water, toilet kind of working, paper thin walls. We used to pay $20 for these rooms. Nice staff and clean enough. Beach nearby where there is a lot of action.

It's near the beach, but not on it and a short walk to downtown. With a little work it could be a nice place. Something that seems low rent is when there is no cover on the light fixture, only a bare light bulb on the ceiling. No hot water or A/C, but the room was well designed for flow through ventilation and the fan was adequate for cooling. The toilet leaked around the base which was a bit nasty when you think about it. Small rooms which is fine for one person, but would be crowded for two. All that said, I would have stayed a second night, but got a really good deal at another, much nicer hotel.

Eigentlich ein hübsches Hotel. Leider schon etwas älter und etwas vernachlässigt bei einigen kleinen Details. Ist aber im Preis berücksichtigt.

Very friendly, helpful and inviting.

The bathroom is extremely small and there is no hot water (by design). The rooms have an open cinder block along the ceiling that easily lets in bugs and noise. Also, the hotel is next to a night club that blast music through the once quiet neighborhood until 2am. People tend to meet at the hotel courtyard after the club closes.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The WIFI worked without interruptions. The shower gave cold water only and you could not sit straight on the toilet. The bathroom was too small.

La cuisine commune était très sale. Les gens étaient super gentils et accueillants, chaque fois que nous avions une questions, ils étaient toujours là pour nous aider. Je recommande l’endroit, mais seulement si vous ne compter pas cuisiner lol!

The staff was friendly & this may be an okay place for singles or travelers who are ok with hostels but for a single mother and her young child I was very disappointed with this place. Live music at night made it hard to rest & overall cleanliness especially bathrooms was bad. I didn’t even end up staying but rather gave the key back and had to find a diff hotel to stay at. When returning the key and telling them I wasn’t going to stay they didn’t bother asking why or offering a refund.

Great place when needed to stay close to the airport. Very responsive host overall great value for the price.

Let me start by saying that the gentlemen that were there for reception and maintenance were outstanding, professional, helpful and expedient in fixing things that are wrong. This is not a 5 star hotel but it is clean and in an excellent location. We had some trouble with our first room because the ceiling had leaks. The next morning we talked to Brian at reception and he immediately found us another room. You have to realize though that the rainfall at that time was the most they had had in decades. They were up on the roof that afternoon repairing it. The new room we had was perfect. Any time we had a question Brian or Guillermo were right on top of it answering it or helping us. I would highly recommend this hotel. We had A/C, private shower and toilet and the hotel is within a 10 minute walk to numerous restaurants. So you know though there is only cold water showers. Not bad after a hot day though!
