Great location. As described. Parking in garage about 500 meters away. It worked fine. Getting into the center of Zagreb was easy on the tram - two blocks away. There was an excellent seafood restaurant just across the street.

We enjoyed our stay at Black 49. When we arrived, I realised that we had not been provided with check-in instructions, however this was quickly fixed by contacting the property manager. The check-in instructions were easy to follow, and I was happy to find that there is an elevator in the building. The room was large and clean with a kitchen, large fridge, washing machine, dining table, and a comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked well and it was a comfortable and welcoming space to relax in during the middle part of the day when it was hot. There is a tram stop a block away from the apartment which leads which into the central area. A neighbour of the property told us where to find it and which one to catch. It was very easy, tickets may be purchased from the driver, or a card from a local service provider and funds may be loaded onto the card. There is a lot of nice places to eat nearby, I recommend HERITAGE - Croatian Street Food & Shop, which is a small walk. There is also a beautiful park next to the restaurant. The location was far enough away from the CBD that it was not an issue to either walk or catch public transport. The surrounding streets were very quiet over the weekend and it was pleasant to walk around before the day got warm. Being out of the CBD also meant that the accommodation was a lot cheaper as well.

Great location (probably the best you can get in Zagreb if you want to be in the city centre and still enjoy the peace and quiet), very comfortable stay and clear and helpful communication.
