Guest House Gugily

This is a lovely little guest house right next to the old town. It's literally a few steps away. As such, the room I had had a great view over the sea, the castle and the city walls, while being sound proof so that the traffic and sound of the tourists couldn't be noticed. The room was comfortable, with a good bed, enough power outlets and it was clean. Shared facilities (kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet) were sufficient for the three rooms and definitely clean as well. I'm pretty sure the owner loves purple and loved to put a feminine touch on the interior design. Unfortunately, I never got to meet the host. I just found an unlocked door and a note to my room, and two other guests, but I haven't seen anyone during the days (probably because I was out exploring Dubrovnik). Perhaps we meet a next time, because if I have a chance to get back to this city, I'll definitely look for availability here.

Beautiful little property in a great location just outside the old town walls, so great for seeing all the sights. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to fellow travellers.

It was clean throughout my stay. Although I don’t know why other guest leave their dirty dishes for the cleaner? There is washing up liquid there. Location is fantastic. The lock on my door wasn’t the easiest and the toilet door needs a little oil. Found it easy to find and get into. Had no problems with noise. Will stay again
