King Evelthon Beach Hotel & Resort

We made a complaint and checked out early. While sat having evening meal in the restaurant a cockroach appeared and climbed over the table cloth. This was not the first incident, in the same restaurant the night before we saw a cockroach on the floor scurrying around before being stepped on by the waiter. This as well as seeing one in the bedroom bathroom was enough for us to leave. We felt we were unable to stay and eat in that hotel. Being with a 9 month old baby, we wanted a relaxing break. Instead we got stress and anxiety. When we mentioned to reception that we were checking out earlier for the above reasons. Their response was "Ok, bye". No mention of a sorry. The hotel is rated as 5 stars, I have stated in far better 2 stars.

We had a wonderful stay: Food: Breakfast - brilliant, omelette station, grill stations, huge selection of foods. Each night the selection was different. The greek style salads were great! Bedroom: We had a balcony room, with a view. Bath in the room, large bed, aircon worked fine. Carpark: We hired a car, there was loads of space in the carpark. Drinks: All inclusive cocktails, there were over 20 in total! Gym: Decent gym! Loads of sunbeds, all in all a great trip! Having perfect weather helps too though!

Drinks not included in half board dinner. Staff kept staring at us while getting lunch when there was no one to tell that we wanted to trade dinner for lunch, more pork options than for bone pork eaters.

Overall it was a good hotel. Room was clean, staff were friendly, food was good, evening entertainment could have been a bit better but might have been that time of year. No fighting for sunbeds.

It was just perfect for us and we can’t complain, We are trying to get our next year holiday booked. The room was very clean and the staff are just lovely and polite. Always ready to assist with a smile. The Spa and pool facilities were excellent.

The reception staff was excellent and ready to assist. The room was very good. I was expecting better facilities for a 5 star hotel e.g. Gym, Saouna, Jacuzzi Also the staff they use, apart from the reception, is of low quality and they need to address this as the quality of service is low.

While we had a lovely holiday the maid service was poor, out of the 6 days we were there 2 days the room was not cleaned, 1 day we had to go to reception to ask for it to be cleaned and on 1 day it was cleaned the cups and glasses were not washed. In the restaurant in the evening the tables are all set with linen table clothes, runners and napkins for the start of service at 18.30 great if you want to eat that early, if you don't and we didn't and you go in later the tables are not reset with linen and all you get if your lucky is a paper napkin. very disappointed.

Henkilökunta oli mukavaa ja uima-allas oli hyvä, mutta hotelli oli hieman epäsiisti ja huoneestamme löytyi luteita. Huoneessamme oli myös kaksi valoa välkkyi, joista kävimme sanomassa, mutta asialle ei tehty mitään. Hotellin ruoka oli myös hieman huono laatuista.

Værelset kunne godt have brugt lidt mere rengøring. Hotellet er slidt. Men overordnet set er der hyggeligt og pænt. Personalet kunne til tider godt virke sure men der var bestemt nogle rigtig søde og behagelige imellem.

Wifi coverage was not resort wide as advertised. Was missing altogether around the outside pool.

Ma mère étant décédée, j'ai du annuler mon sejour. J'ai envoyé des mails et des appels téléphoniques sans réponse pour obtenir des documents de ma non venue pour l'assurance mais en vain. J'ai tout perdu. C'est une honte de ne pas considérer ses clients. A FUIR

Not taken into account request for twin bed and cockroach in bedroom. However we were then moved really helpful porter. Entertainment staff were great really attentive. Food was great choice and really good, drinks not so much. Pool great and outdoor area lovely

We had a great stay at the King Evelthon Beach resort. The facilities and pool area were lovely, located right on the seafront with access to the sea and a beautiful pool. The food was excellent and the staff that served in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming, unfortunately the same can’t be said for the bar staff (pool area), who were generally quite rude and all seemed unable to even smile when serving you ! A big mention to Georgina the relations manager, Justin the entertainments manager and Rashid, lobby bar, for a good overall holiday experience.

Very friendly staffs in Reception. We came early and received early check-in! This Hotel is very good for children and teenagers because has many facilities like aquapark, pools, musical concerts.

Room had ants Difficult to find a clean prepared table in the dining area because staff were more focused on collecting plates from guest whilst they were still eating

Der Umgebung war sehr schön. Es sind sowohl Stein und Sandstrände in der Nähe. Der Personal war leider nicht so freundlich außer die Reinigungspersonal die immer lächelte. Glutenfreies Essen ist sehr schwer zu organisieren. Ich habe vor der Reise schon 6 Email an die Rezeption geschrieben mit 4 verschiedenen Account leider haben wir keine Antwort bekommen. Vor Ort müssten wir an der Rezeption ausfüllen, welche Glutenfrei Essen man haben möchte. Leider diese Info kam nie an der Küche an und musste ich jeden Tag erklären, dass ich es bereits an die Rezeption bestellt habe. Ansonsten der Hotel war okay. Gegenüber die Wasserpark war auch cool. Wenn ich nächstes Mal nach Zypern fahre, würde ich eine andere Hotel nehmen.

This is a horrible hotel which is worth 3* maximum. The staff at the reception were awful…even when they are not busy, they ignore you! The hotel is run down with mouldy showers and worn out furniture. Also there were ants on our TV unit even though we didn’t have food in the room. Food in the restaurant was awful, and even though we had the all inclusive package, we chose to eat outside of the hotel. Breakfast was average although the pastries were absolutely disgusting! They would serve the same pastries in the afternoon! The only good thing about this hotel was the tennis court and parking which were free. Best not to stay here unless you’re happy with worn out hotels and horrible staff!

Good value for money, plenty of food and drink options to choose from

Horrible stay, claim they are a 5 star, they are a 3 at best! Dirty everwhere, stained bedding, towels, hallway carpets, really unkept. Tiny flea like bugs in room, leaking shower, leaking air con unit i could go on. Food AWFUL not 5 star, bad quality, choice and salad for example just sits out for not in refrigerator unit at all. Staff so bad!! Did not help at all, only suggestion from them was we can eat at the a la cartes more than once per week, i did not accept this at all!!! Even customer relationship person admitted its no way a 5 star hotel and suggested “next time” we stay at hotel annabelle which we stayed at 10 years ago and it was stunning!

Excellent large pool, must have been around 50m if you swam the whole length. Plenty of space for children to play. Area around the pool was noisy but there were plenty of Sun loungers also available on grass closer to sea. Our air con in our room wasn’t very effective although maintenance team came out very quickly but they didn’t do much. Enjoyable stay.
