Tsokkos Protaras Hotel

Clean hotel and very friendly staff. The food was varied and good enough, considering the decent value of the hotel. Entertainment was slightly repetitive on a day-to-day basis but did the job. Hotel is very well located relative to the beach and the main Protaras strip of shops and restaurants. Free use of tennis rackets and balls for the court which is easily accessible. Gym is small and has missing weights as other reviews state, but it’s clean, well air-conditioned, and has what you need for a small workout while away.

The location was brilliant, it is right by the beach and the strip so cannot complain about that at all. The rooms are modern but could do with a bit of fresh paint. The food is what really let down the hotel. I wasn’t expecting gourmet meals but this was one of the worst hotel breakfasts I have ever had, and I’ve had a lot. The dinner also wasn’t great - if I was there for more than a couple of nights I wouldn’t have eaten here after two nights. Also their luggage storage bit isn’t actually luggage storage room, you just put your bags by reception.

Masse engelskmenn; så mye rart å se på!;-) stort pg deilig basseng. Perfekt for vår datter på 6 år. Kort vei til alt. Kjempestor buffet med masse valgmuligheter, men maten smakte ikke så mye, men absolutt ikke vond, bare uten smak. Sentralt men rolig om natten og AC fungerte fint. Vi sov godt. Folk la ut håndkle på solsengene fra 06-07tiden og ved 09-tiden var alle opptatt;-)

Hotel was basic, clean and comfortable. Room was tired in places. But pool area made up for it. Drinks were good. Buffet was basic and we didn’t really eat there much. Would I go back? Absolutely for the price paid. Its location was excellent!!

Everything excellent. Will come back very soon. Especially I would like to thank Mr .Christos who searched, found and secured my medical equipment which I unfortunately left in the room. Efficiency and consistency combined with a superb hotel in a perfect location right on the sea front. I strongly recommend it.

Gym could do with an upgrade, other than that 10/10

Personalet ved ankomst var flinke og imødekommende. Maden er ikke tilsvarende et 4-stjernet hotel, det er hotellet heller ikke. Enkelte tjenere var rigtig flinke og hurtige til at reagere på bestillinger af drikkevarer. Men et par af de kvindelige tjenere, skænkede os ikke et blik, og så kunne man sidde og vente på drikkevarer i op til 15 minutter efter vi havde hentet mad. Hotellet er et sminket lig. Pool området er ok. Af at være et hotel i en ret stor kæde, så var det virkelig ringe. Maden var overordnet set vildt kedelig, både morgen, middag og aften. Vi kommer der ihvertfald IKKE igen. Det bedste ved hele hotellet er beliggenheden. Det ligger virkelig godt.

Hotel in need of refurbishment is not 4 star

-Pool only available from 9am until 6pm. -The pool side music too loud and repetitive. -Bar drinks on all inclusive are lower quality. -Entertainment was not good. -Food was repetitive Staff are great. Close to shops and Beach. Cater for allergies if asked. Close to buses along the coast Clean hotel. comfortable beds.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe 2.5 stars. I don't understand why the hotel still has to be advertised as a 4-star hotel. There would be better reviews if the rating was directly 3 stars. In the hotel and outside areas, a lot of wear and tear, shabbyness and old stubborn dirt. The sunbeds in the pool area are dirty (stained) and some broken. The music in the pool area is also way too loud. These made it uncomfortable even though the room was clean. The pillows in the room are lumpy and the toilet works so and so. In the room there are unfinished building fixtures and the refrigerator door needs fixing. Good things: Nice staff, good breakfast, sometimes dinner was also good, especially Mexican night menu and Chicken fajita. Close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants and a bus stop, from which you can easily get to Ayia Napa for €1.50/adult.

Ett fint hotell med flott uteområdet og basseng. Utrolig hyggelig personale. Samt god mat. Rommet var alltid vasket og vi fikk nye hånkler hver dag. Hotellet er også nærme stranda.

Beware. After we discovered the hotel Tsokkos Beach , was closed arriving at the gates. We were shocked that our hotel we had booked and paid for, was shut. We knew nothing about this !! It’s still live on Hotels.com for bookings ! It’s been closed for weeks. We only found this out in a local taverna. So be careful don’t book that one. We were lucky tho because the hotel Constantinos The Great was the same company as our closed hotel. We only found this out at the local restaurant. So we went to Constantinos The Great reception to ask if we could stay there . Yes we could. It was lovely. We got to stay….. For an extra 90 euros !! A right nice Cypriot gentleman called Andreas was really sorry about everything, but promised us everything would be sorted the next day. Remember we had paid in full for their closed hotel. So the first evening in Protaras was a bit disappointing. Next morning. Wow how things changed. Got our 90 Euros back and Constantinos The Great was fantastic. Best hotel ever. The hotels location and staff were amazing. Facilities were just as nice 👌 . Girl called Adele at the Spa and indoor pool area was extra helpful, giving us loads of tips around our new hotel and Protaras in general. Breakfast at Constantinos The Great was lovely too. Lots of choice and selection . Staff are in here were good too. Nothing was any hassle. So definitely go ahead and book Constantions The Great Hotel it’s superb . Just sort out booking system at the Tsokkos Beach

Location grat close to the beach

I really enjoyed our stay at Tsokkos Protaras Hotel. Easy going staff, good food, always welcoming and helpfull with smiley faces. Also fun and humouristic. A lot of possibilities. I loved our room and balcony. The food was excellent. So much to choose from also when picky. Beautiful palm tress by the pool and lovely plants on the outside terrace. I really recommend Tsokkkos Protaras.

Good value for money.

Hotel very dated room not as pictures advertised. Food was awful, drinks even worse. AI was a waste of money. Very grubby hotel and definitely not a 4 star. Stayed many years ago and shocked to see how bad it has become.

Breakfast, Lunch and dinner….very bad. Nice poolarea.

Hotel facilities were in good condition. Rooms were unacceptable very old including the beds. Very uncomfortable. Need to be renovated

Great stay with a lot of amenities and a very busy time of year in August/September.
