The hotel’s location is definitely its strongest asset - very convenient and well-positioned for exploring the area. However, several disappointing aspects significantly impacted my stay. Upon arrival, I discovered that the room I had specifically reserved and paid extra for was not available. The photos used during booking were misleading, as the actual room provided was quite different from what was advertised. Additionally, the view from my room was disappointing and not what I had expected based on the booking details. The hotel also lacks basic amenities that many travelers expect, such as a spa or other recreational facilities. For the price point, I expected more comprehensive services and amenities. While the location saved this stay from being a complete disappointment, the poor room assignment, misleading photos, and limited facilities make it difficult to recommend.

Amazing spot to stay in Copenaghuen. Staff was amazing. Very helpful and nice. Rooms are very accomodating and have a great Danish decoration. It is located right in the heart of the main area of the city. Everything is walking distance.

Before my arrival, I reached out to the hotel requesting two double beds, as this was one of the options available when booking the Design Deluxe Double room with king size bed on Hotels.com. I never received a response. When I checked in, I found a full-size bed instead. When I went back to reception to ask if this was the room I had booked, I was told it was—but it looked completely different from the photos online. The bathroom was also nothing like what I saw when booking. The listing lacked clear photos and accurate information about the different room layouts under the same name. The toilet had not been cleaned thoroughly, the trash can was broken, and the shower had no shampoo. I requested shampoo, but my request was ignored. The shower space was extremely tight, and the design was completely different from what was pictured—the bathroom unit overall was a total surprise, and not in a good way. The hotel promotes itself as offering a Danish design experience, but in reality, the building feels old and in need of major updates. If you truly want to experience Danish design, I’d recommend visiting a museum or other cultural spaces—not this hotel. Given that this property is more expensive than several nicer hotels in the same neighborhood, I would strongly advise against booking here. Don’t be bamboozled by the marketing photos and descriptions.

Bathroom was spectacularly designed.

They don't actually have AC. It’s more like a fan, you have to open the windows and hope it’s cold outside if not the room will stay super hot. Also because we had to open the windows, it was difficult to sleep because of the noise and brightness.

駅近で観光にも便利な場所です。 滞在でデンマークデザインを実感できます。 併設のカフェも素敵ですので是非朝食付きをお薦めします。 部屋の場所によっては設備の音が気になると思います。私は2泊目以降部屋を変えてもらいました。

I love the history of the hotel. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! I would recommend this hotel! Oh! -The final touch was all the information about the furniture on the walls of all the floors!

It is a very old building, and the air conditioner was inadequate

Ett centralt beläget hotell med retro-charm. Men ett rum på 12 kvm mot innergård kan aldrig ge höga poäng även om det är rent och fräscht. Frukostrestaurangen i anslutning till hotellet är i första hand ett mycket populärt kafé för allmänheten som man som hotellgäst får tillgång till. Det innebär att servicen är mindre bra även om frukosten trots sin begränsning i utbud håller hög klass.
