Great Pyramid Inn

The staff here were amazing. They were immensely helpful and genuinely brightened our day. They went above and beyond constantly to ensure our stay was perfect. On top of that the restaurant location and food was next level. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was great every day, plenty of variety. Room was clean and new towels supplied every day. Staff were awesome, friendly, kind and the view of the Pyramids was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there, great location.

The staff, were some of the best I've encountered, over many years of travelling. Food was outstanding, as was the service. I will single out Yousuf (head waiter), as an exemplary example. Comfortable beds and a good shower/ bathroom. The vista from the roof terrace, is one of the very best in the world.

Stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the pyramids and the view was truly unbeatable! The property is located on the street right off of the exit of the Giza pyramid plateau, so while we had a driver pick us up to get to the entrance for our sightseeing tour (10- minute drive) we were able to stay longer in the plateau area after our scheduled tour ended and then simply walked back 3 minutes on foot to the hotel, which was extremely convenient and saved us from having to find another ride back. The room was clean and modern-ish, though the bathroom could use a bit of work. The shower is not enclosed so water spills all over the floor and at times there was a funky smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. It is also worth noting that the street below the hotel room we were in was very busy and quite loud at every hour of the day, with lots of construction happening at night (10 pm - 3 am) and some music playing until fairly late. If you're a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing ear plugs. The breakfast buffet was solid and had many options (e.g. Egyptian dishes, rolls + pastries, yogurt, fruit, etc) and the staff was extremely friendly. Bottled water was free for guests which we really appreciated! Our favorite aspect of this hotel was the rooftop patio overlooking the pyramids, which was stunning both for morning breakfast and dinner. Dinner was a la cart, very reasonably prices, and very good. Would stay here again!

Rooms were basic yet clean. But you are staying at the hotel for the amazing views of the pyramids from the rooms and their amazing roof top restaurant for breakfast. The rooftop patio is worth the stay alone. My only issue was that the online booking forums so a free 24 hour airport shuttle that is only available if you stay 2 nights. We tried booking and paying for the shuttle and no one confirmed and no one showed up. They couldn't find us a shuttle back to the airport either so we wound up using Careem. So just don't bank on the shuttle like we did.

We loved our stay at Great Pyramid Inn All the staff were very friendly and approachable and wanting to help. The highlights include the view from our room of the pyramids, the delicious breakfast, rooftop restaurant and the excellent laundry service. We used the complimentary airport pick up and the driver was very friendly and a safe driver which gave us comfort as we arrives at 1.20am. The location is exceptional being a 2mon walk to the pyramids entrance and a short drive to the GEM. Highly recommend!

It was amazing staying at Great Pyramid Inn The people, service , food, ambience, view was perfect. I will definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again It was amazing !!

The Great Pyramid Inn sits right next to the Giza Plateau. The hotel is beautiful inside and has an elevator. There are 5 floors in the hotel. The rooftop has a restaurant where they serve breakfast and has an awesview of the pyramids and Sphinx. My room had a view of the pyramids. There is a small closet to hang clothes but I feel there is need for more hooks or shelves in the bathroom. The shower has no doors so the whole place gets wet. And the shower head is very small so there is no power to take a nice bath. But overall it's a nice place to stay. There isn't much to do here, so I would recommend spending just one night or two here if you want to vist the GEM and the pyramids.

The hotel is very good, right in front of the pyramids with a beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant. They have laundry for only US$1 per item of clothing. The restaurant provides breakfast included, lunch and dinner à la carte. The room is huge. The shower seems to have a smart system that makes the water start to cool down after 10 minutes, probably due to the water shortage in Egypt. The Wi-Fi is very unstable and sometimes doesn't work. The area around the hotel is poor, and you can't walk around peacefully because someone is always bothering you, but in reality, they want to help you to get a tip. I recommend the hotel, but only for 2 days. After visiting the pyramids, it's better to stay in downtown Cairo, which is what I did.

空港シャトルバスは確か2泊以上じゃないと使えなかった気がします。一泊だったので、それを使わずにUberで空港から直行で来ました。 テラスからの景色はすごく圧倒されました。素晴らしいの一言です。ホテルの五階にはrooftop 7000があり、そこが朝食会場ですが、移動が面倒だったので晩御飯もそこで食べることにしました。お値段はお高めでしたが、素晴らしい景色が見えるのでそのお代と思って割り切りました。夜のピラミッドショーは曜日が決まってて、私の宿泊時は残念ながらやってませんでしたが、クフ王のピラミッドが少しだけ下からライトアップされてて綺麗でした。ホテルのセキュリティはちゃんとしてて、怖い思いはしませんでした。中は古代エジプト感があって良かったです。 シャワーはボディジェルはあったけど、シャンプーがないので注意してください。

Decent room size and amenities, however not sound proof, the music from nearby locations is very load. Weird rules, you have to pay 10 USD if you lose your room key. The restaurant is amazing, food is delicious and lively atmosphere, the view is absolutely worth it. However you cannot go out of the hotel. The entire area looks like its been through a war

Perfect location. One foot closer and you’d step on the sphinx’s paw. The restaurant on the roof gives an incredible view of the pyramids (postcard type of photos). Great staff as well. I will definitely comeback to this hotel!!

It was one of the best experiences ever. The view from the room was breathtaking. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good. Literally 100 meters away from the pyramids. Sleeping next to sphinx was amazing

All the above and when I asked the Front desk if I need to tip the the hotel doorman for helping with the luggage, the answer was ...NO SIR ALL SERVICES ARE INCLUDED...This Management Policy shows a Great deal of respect and commitment to the Tourist Industry and obviously reflects greatly to the Egyptian people overall.
