Great Pyramid Inn

This is a great hotel next to the pyramids, with a excellent roof top view of all the pyramids & Sphinx . Extremely clean & very comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. The staff was extremely polite and helpful for whatever we needed. Highly recommend this place. I came from Las Vegas Nevada, with friends. Dont hesitate to book.

Excellent location and Pyramid view. The rooftop restaurant was excellent as well. The breakfast choices could be better to accommodate variety of guests. The staff was very helpful overall specially Waleed at the front desk helped us a lot and the tour arrangement he did was excellent and saved us lot of time. Thank you for the great time.

Staff was very gracious and accommodating. Hotel provides late checkout of up to 6 more hours for modest cost. Room was comfortable and quiet - exactly what we needed for one day stay before long flight home.

Perfect location! Excellent views of the pyramids from the rooftop restaurant. Friendly staff. We felt very well taken care of. Close to the pyramids and a short uber ride to the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Great prices on local tours arranged at the reception desk.

Extremely affordable, great staff who were so helpful is making sure we had a wonderful stay! They got us cabs, recommended ways for us not to get scammed and truly took care of us. Would recommend!! Can’t wait to go back!

We paid extra for a balcony room, the first night we didn’t have the balcony, we talked to the front desk and they tried to convince us we didn’t pay for a balcony, once i showed my voucher they explained my room had electrical problems and would be ready the next day, Definitely a scam but ended up getting a balcony room in the end. For compensation they gave us a free ride to the airport which didn’t really make us feel any better. Great view, good location.

The room was great and the staff was very friendly. They set up transportation to excursions as well as airport transportation. We will definitely be staying there again.

We stayed at the Great Pyramids Inn for two nights and had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the airport pickup. Even though we arranged it in advance, no one was waiting for us at the meeting point and the driver wasn’t holding a sign with our name. We had to search for him, and the car was parked far away, requiring a long walk with luggage and even going down stairs, which was frustrating after a long flight. The room itself was very clean, but the window advertised in the listing was misleading. The room we received had only a tiny bathroom-style window facing a wall less than a meter away, offering no natural light. The staff were respectful and helpful, and the breakfast served each morning was genuinely good. The highlight of the stay was the rooftop. The view of the pyramids is outstanding, and we enjoyed spending time there on both nights. We were welcomed with fresh orange juice on the first evening, which was a nice touch. We ordered Egyptian kebab and Om Ali for dinner; the food presentation was good, but the kebab arrived a bit cold, and the dessert wasn’t served in a traditional way. Despite the issues with pickup and the room, the rooftop view and the cleanliness of the hotel made our stay memorable. With improvements to transportation coordination and more accurate room descriptions, this hotel could offer a much better overall experience.

El servicio y la atención del staff fue muy bueno, todos muy amables, las habitaciones limpias, y la vista de la terraza inigualable. solo tuvimos problema el primer día con la regadera, salía muy poca agua, la segunda noche nos cambiaron a otra habitación salía mejor el agua pero ya no contamos con agua caliente, una lástima ya que el lugar está muy bien ubicado a unos pasos de la entrada de las pirámides.

I absolutely Love The Great Pyramid Inn I stayed back in July for the first time And I came again in November and The Great Pyramid Inn was my only CHOICE !! O melhor hotel para quem quer ficar de frente as pirâmides e aproveitar a melhor vista de Cairo.. os arredores do hotel é um pouco conturbado, porém seguro..

This was a really nice hotel, especially given the price. It made it an incredible value in my opinion. The rooms were really nice and the Egyptian theme to the hotel and rooms were a really nice touch, especially when you arrive into Egypt for the first time. The location is also incredibly convenient now, given the new arrangements of the Pyramid complex, because the Pyramid Complex exit is 50 meters from the hotel. This has positives and negatives because it also means the nearby stores are all tourist trap stores and not local stores or restaurants. Luckily though, this hotel's top floor is one of the trendiest and nicest restaurants in Giza, so you don't need to go very far at all to get a good meal. We ate here once for dinner and the food was excellent, though expensive even by USA standards. I also need to mention the airport pickup when we arrived, which didn't go well. They were 45 minutes late and I felt stranded at the airport deciding whether to keep waiting or deal with the airport taxi/uber scammers. Overall, I would 100% stay here again and would recommend this hotel to everyone when they come to Giza.
