Great property, 5 min walk to Luxor temple. Bang on Nile. Lots of food options right across property. We had some plumbing issues but resolved quickly.

We stayed at Pavillon Winter Luxor for four nights and booked a room with breakfast included, which was good. The staff were friendly, welcoming. The room was clean and well maintained, nice warm shower, and comfortable bed. It was well equipped with most amenities needed for an enjoyable stay, and the drinking water bottles were refilled regularly, which we appreciated. However, the room furniture was somewhat dated, and the shower area definitely needs a curtain or glass partition to prevent water from splashing everywhere during showering, as it made the entire bathroom wet. The hotel’s garden was truly beautiful, and the location is a definite plus. Major attractions such as Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the museum are easily accessible on foot or by Uber. The hotel is also close to the Nile, the riverside promenade, and many restaurants. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

I believe we have been robbed while staying in this hotel, and the hotel management is covering it up. After the checkout from the hotel I found that part of the money saved for the next leg of the trip was missing. I sent an email to the hotel asking to investigate. The hotel manager Ali Nabil responded with a screenshot from the access key system. One of the entries was made at 9:37 pm when we were in a completely different place, there was a missing entry around 11pm when we actually came back to the hotel. I have responded to Ali saying that we only came back to the hotel at around 11pm, to which he responded with screenshots from the CCTV system indicating arrival time of 9:42. The reason I believe that this has been tampered with is that all of our iPhone photos have timestamps showing that we have been in a different hotel at this time. Google maps timeline also clearly shows this. Absolutely shocking, disgusting behaviour on behalf of Sofitel staff. When I submitted a complaint to Accor via their website, the response was to forward it back to the hotel. Anyway, I would just like to let everyone know that this happened, which is completely unacceptable for an international chain. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Additionally, the breakfast and food overall was subpar, and the only thing good about the hotel was the garden, which was very well maintained and nothing like we have seen in Egypt.

The staffers both in Pavillon and Sofitel were amazing. They gave us phenomenal service. The great breakfast service with the two Mustafas, and the Breakfast Head were always there to help, and what a lovely team. The GARDEN was so outstandingly beautiful. Rashidy was par exellence in Sofitel. The pool was great and not to forget, we also had a great room. The reception women were so welcoming. And the security guards were always there to help. If I forget anyone, so sorry. Our family loves this hotel.

Lovely high end hotel set on gorgeous grounds, large pool, good cafes/bar/restaurants, incredibly friendly staff. Very quick and fairly priced laundry service. The area around the hotel is street dirty with locks of people offering “services”, some aggressively.

Alles is er goed aan het Winbter Palace and het Pavillon: accomodatie ligging, personeel, onderhoud, service 10 punten +++++, tripple A in alle opzichten !

Excelente ubicación. El staff era amable. Los muebles se ven un poco antiguos pero están cuidados y las areas verdes hace el ambiente más ameno.

Amazing stuff, nice service. Overall nice experience. The only comment: the bathroom is not practical and need a renovation especially the shower. Thanks for the nice experience.
