At the reception Mohamed El Kashef was simply awesome, he helped me at the check in, went above and beyond, breakfast was great, with something for everyone, Marian also helped me the next day with a few things and she was very pleasant and professional, the sea view was breathtaking, the hotel is clean and have a lot of history, food at the restaurant was really good and fresh, will be back, thanks

Excelent small Horel in amazing location. On the side of the Stanley Bridge in Alexandria! Staff exceptional! Very polite, professional and friendly! Rare to see this kind of service level anywhere in the world. Ever amazing.

For 80$ per day better options are out there. However, it's a good try if you can't find another. Room and toilet are very small with no view and very loud noises from the cars. The best part is the breakfast by the sea.

I stayed here twice in December. The first time we were assigned an old outdated room. Cleanliness wasn't exactly great. However, the view was breathtaking and staff were professional. The second time we were given an upgraded renovated room. A suite in fact, the first one was a suite as well and I doubt they have any other option. Cleanliness was great. View was still amazing. It was one of my best stays ever! It's rare to find such professional staff. Front desk manager Mr Ahmad Meghawry was such a great help. All in all, everyone visiting Alexanderia must stay at San Giovanni!

Fue una buena estancia, muy atentos todos en el hotel, un poco tardados en todo, desde el check in hasta la limpieza del cuarto. Buen desayuno, muy buena ubicación, todo en el cuarto funcionaba.

We stayed for only one night, having booked 2 rooms. We got upgraded to a Suite which was very nice of the Front Desk. We were really really pleased with both rooms, the Suite as well as the standard twin room. The décor was very nice, and views were amazing, directly over Stanly Bridge. Plenty of photos taken, scenery was amazing, especially from the Coffee Shop inside the hotel, which overlooks the bay under Stanly Bridge. We requested an iron and got it almost immediately. Service was very good at the hotel, we did not eat at the hotel, other than breakfast, which they also offered us complimentary (we did not include it in our original booking). The only negative thing about the hotel is the breakfast - although they had everything there, eg foul, yoghurts, eggs, etc... it was not freshly made, and the bread was a little stale. Would definitely stay here again, but would definitely not have breakfast at the hotel! Overall an amazing, small hotel with all the facilities.

The staff was very nice i could pay in a mix of dollars and Egyptian pounds. Breakfast at the mouth of the Mediterranean Sea and a view of the Stanley bridge were fantastic. My room was modest but had all the conviences. I was running low on power and lost one of my converters. The wall plugs had built in converters. AMAZING feature. The do not provide wash cloths here as many local hotels do not. I also didn't get any lotion for my room but all else was great. Would stay here again for a quick overnight or base camp. The neighborhood was lively and a place where you could find food and fun late.
