Best hotel stay during my trip to Scotland. This was my second time at this hotel. I reserved the same room and they obliged me. I’m a cancer patient and they suggested room service for breakfast and they delivered with professional courtesy.

Wonderful 1 night stay at this lovely hotel. We were in Rose Cottage room #8 and we loved it! Clean, spacious and comfortable! Fire alarm went off at midnight (not the fault of the hotel) which was a great way to meet our fellow guests lol. Be aware there is no lift access to the upper floors in the cottage rooms if that might be a problem for you.
Would definitely stay again if we’re back this way.

A lovely little hotel. V comfortable and quiet twin room, despite weddings both nights we stayed. Reception staff in particular were v helpful and friendly. Quality surroundings and breakfast. Village too is delightful.

Enjoyed the hotel and restaurant but the emails I had sent confirming a 7.30 dinner in the conservatory restaurant hadn’t been taken into account. Luckily the waitress found us a table but a point for admin to note

Soap, shower gel, shampoo in large hard to access containers screwed to the walls. Hardly what I would classify as 4* toiletries.
Dined here 1 evening but not again. Overpriced and minute portion hardly big enough to fill a flea.
I guess it’s the fitness suite that gains this hotel a 4* rating.

Nice stay. Staff very friendly. Food was pretty good. Bar area could be nicer and I thought the beer was quite expensive although was good. Water pressure not great but fine. Got charged incorrectly and twice for the rooms which I'll need to follow up to have rectified despite the receptionist saying she'd cancelled 1 of the charges. But I would probably stay again if in the area. Didn't have time to use the leisure facilities.

quiet and peaceful location. Restaurant was great with a good selection of food available either in the restaurant or the bar. Emma in the restaurant was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Hotel was in a beautiful and quiet location.
We had a good sized room but the shower only dribbled out water at best and the room was very hot. The overhead fan didn’t work but a stand-alone fan had been provided.
We were fairly late arriving and only stayed overnight so my husband was going to report the issues with the fan and shower in readiness for the next guest as we left. However, after waiting some time at reception and nobody appearing he gave up and just left the keycard on the reception seat.
Breakfast was adequate, we didn’t use the leisure facilities.

A lovely quiet country hotel with excellent accommodation. We stayed in a signature suite & it was spacious, clean & bright. The leisure facilities were better than expected & the restaurant food was plentiful & delicious.

The quality and friendliness of this hotel was up to its usual high standards.
Good choice for breakfast, full English was tasty and filling.
The only downside we found was the bar, poor service, selection of cocktails and some prices were expensive. To the point we found a lovely friendly wee pub 5 minutes from the hotel and chose to go there instead for drinks.
