Diamond Lodge Hotel Manchester

We have stayed at Diamond Lodge numerous times. It is convenient for what we need, it isn't over staffed normally, we may have to wait whilst other people are being seen but its no problem as it normally isnt that busy or too big a queue/wait. The hotel is basic but clean and it is what it advertises itself as, i.e 3*** hotel. We'll definitely stay again.

Clean and tidy budget stay on a main bus route to Manchester. Staff were nice and friendly and place was secure. Just the job. Breakfast was English buffet style with a reasonable choice.

Rooms were very clean, really friendly staff, very reasonable at £79 a night for two people amd a breakfast included, would recommend.

The hotel has a curious feel to it. The rooms are good. It reminds someone of a hotel in Twin Peaks with a specific decor but it is strangely enchanting. I have stayed here often

The check-in process was quick, but the room itself was cold. I was given Room 233 on the first floor, just to the left of the stairs. When I arrived, the room was quite chilly. I turned on the heater, but it remained lukewarm even after some time because the control button wasn’t working properly. Since the phone in the room wasn’t working either, I had to go to reception for assistance. The receptionist advised me to turn the radiator knob to the highest setting (10) and helped fix the button issue. However, the radiator was still very slow in heating up the room, and I had to sit in my coat for quite a while before it became warm enough. On a positive note, the cleaner on our floor was very helpful. She changed the towels daily and regularly provided tea bags, coffee, milk, and other essentials.

Too much sounds isolated and feels old.

Hotel ok and great location for city centre and Co-op live but it is looking a little tired and needs a revamp. No TV remote on room to begin with and had to try two more before found one that worked. Staff friendly and breakfast just ok.

Check in & staff very nice . Hotel looks tired , lift wasn’t working , no hot water for a shower in the morning.
