Room lovely- first time I’ve been away and not missed my own bed. Breakfast was gorgeous. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My only concern was while sat in the bar area a woman was training staff (Middle aged woman with a german(?) accent) and started berating a staff member loudly in front of customers in the bar/ queuing for check-in - this was very unprofessional- and the staff member she was berating was a lovely, helpful lad.

The hotel changed hands midweek to B&B hotels, they are rude, disrespectful and can’t even handle a receipt for the stay, I have reported them to hotels.com who are trying to resolve the issue

Excellent value, budget option. A little dated, but perfectly clean and comfortable. Fairly narrow, but tasty, and more than adequate breakfast buffet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only gripe was smell of smoke in the room - possibly other guests - which was unpleasant. Easy links to town centre and convenient for local attractions. Note busy main road makes some rooms noisy.

Lovely room, comfy bed, lots of hot water, adequate breakfast, plenty of parking in front of the hotel in its own compound, helpful staff on where to eat evening meal. Though our room overlooked a road, when we closed the.window, we could not hear the traffic.

This is an excellent budget hotel. There’s a big car park (£4.50 a day) and bus stops nearby. Manchester Ubers are reasonable too. The hotel room looks just like the official photos. It’s a bit run down but it is a bargain stay. Great blackout curtains. I’d stay again.

Good location, very close to train and bus station and 2 miles out of city centre and from Co-op live arena and Etihad stadium. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Good breakfast which was nice to be included. Hotel itself is a bit dated and tired, but clean and has all facilities needed for a short stay, including parking for a small fee. Only let down was the room next to us was playing loud music from around 3:40am to 5:40qm, despite reception staff asking them to turn it down and then off, however, this is not a negative reflection at all on the hotel, and the reception staff member tried to resolve the issue in a professional and efficient manner.

Clean and tidy. Great breakfast. Staff really friendly. Checking in/out easy. Parking easy to sort. We stayed in room 223, which is in need of an upgrade, BUT… it’s very clean and comfortable. Overall, great hotel for price, location and amenities. Thanks for having us!

The room was lovely, the staff were amazing and very helpful and the free breakfast was delicious.

Everything was excellent about the hotel including the staff,cleanliness, decor, breakfast, room size and condition. My only negative was the road noise to my room throughout the night.

Great value stay. There was an issue with on of the guests who had been noisy since coming back in the early hours but that isn’t the hotels fault and they did kick them out. Breakfast was good.

Check in was great lovely member of staff explained everything and about breakfast. The beds were comfortable, however the radiator was very old and the only heat source so it took us a long time to get warm and the shower the following day didnt work at all. We went to reception and he told us they have reset it and to have breakfast and try again. We did that and still not working so went back to reception, he told us the hot water had completely stopped working, no alternative offered but he was visibly stressed and told us he could not get hold of any managers to assist and didnt know what to do. The breakfast was ok good choice minus fried eggs which was disappointing. When it was coming up to 10am one of the kitchen staff were sighing as people were still coming in for breakfast. I didnt find the morning staff as professional as the evening staff. The room itself was ok but very standard and parking was not free but thats not a huge deal it was cheap parking. The hotel is closeby to the train station and to coop live so a great location. I would visit again if i had to but wouldnt be by choice unfortunately.

The room was spotless and also the bathroom was clean and well equiped for an overnight stay. Staff very helpful couldnt do enough for us, they were very polite and helpful. Friendly staff behind the bar. The only criticism i have is they dont sell draught mild beer.
