I booked a 2 night stay for my wife's birthday, everything was perfect. Thank you to Ellie for putting the balloons, champagne and roses in the room for me, and thank you to the chef who made 2 small cakes and served it on plate with a very elegantly written "happy birthday".
The breakfast and dinner options were very tasty, all the staff were extremely friendly and we look forward to staying again soon!

This is a really good hotel. Friendly service, great food and with an easy atmosphere. Car parking is easy too. I can only recommend on the basis of my 3 trips there over the past year.

Uncomfortable beds, even after getting a second topper - not Hilton standard. I left my sons night light next to the bed and it wasn’t handed in by cleaning staff. Rather stay at Premier Inn next door. Cleanliness ok, except in bathroom which had toothpaste marks on sink from previous guests.

Ridiculous that because I booked via Trivago I had to pay £10 for overnight parking.. If I’d booked direct and then no charge so reception informed me…Makes the room saving pointless…

Booked due to having EV chargers, however these were all blocked by non electric cars. Hotel did nothing to stop this from happening. The base that the mattress was on creaked whenever there was any movement.

Arrived and checked in, entered car details on parking tablet then asked how would I like to parking, I replied I rather not thank you. Unfortunatelt, my sense of humour was lost. I asked why should I have to pay when I am your guest? I was told abruptly “well you wouldn’t have to if you booked direct”
I am no psychologist, but talk about getting off on the wrong foot. This hotel is next door to a Premier Inn and my advice is save money and stay there instead.
Sorry Hilton but I won’t be staying here again!
