Holiday Inn Express London - Croydon, an IHG Hotel

Amazing. 5/5 all round. Amazing smooth check-in. The receptionist saw how tired I was after a flight so she let me check in early and she was very supportive all through the stay. Room was spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Das Hotel ist soweit in Ordnung, das Frühstück lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Umgebung läd nicht zum spazieren ein.

The peoples very nice

During my recent stay, I requested assistance with the heating in my room, as it was extremely cold. I contacted the reception several times and was assured that someone would come to help, but no one ever arrived. As a result, the room remained freezing throughout the night. My partner was coughing and feeling unwell due to the cold, which made the stay very uncomfortable. I was very disappointed both with the lack of proper heating and the poor customer service in handling the issue. Based on this experience, I cannot see myself returning to the hotel in the future.

Excellent hotel

ランドリーサービスがなく、1キロ離れたコインランドリーに行ってました。しかも、かなり高かったです。周辺のジムも使えなかった(スタッフに確認したのですが、明記されてた案内はされませんでした) 全体的には利用した空港も近く良かったです。また、朝ごはんも込みでお得でした。

When making beds make sure there are no stains on bedding. Vacuum when coming to clean even if it seems like it may not need it. As we are coming from outside and eating in our rooms. Some room deodorizer to keep rooms with a fresh smell.

Staff is wonderful, hotel very comfortable. Surrounding area is not the top, however you can find a lot of supermarket and places to eat

The hotel is fantastic, clean, breakfast wonderful, lovely staff. The only point is the surronding area. However, the area counts with several place to buy food and supermarkets. The train close to the hotel is direct to the center of London

Although we hung up the note asking for the room to be cleaned, it was only cleaned half-heartedly. They should also vacuum and dust. Used dishes, for example, are not replaced or taken away. We even tried to make this clear by placing them on the floor, but they were repeatedly put back on the table :-) We also tried to explain this to the cleaning lady, but she didn't understand us; she said she only speaks/understands Spanish. Breakfast was adequate but always the same, so monotonous. Furthermore, there are no slippers available, which should actually be provided in every hotel. We always walked around barefoot. There was carpet on the floor, but I don't think it's very hygienic to be in the bathroom without slippers.

Sucked that I could only get twin beds

We were initially very pleased with our room, the hotel staff seemed nice and lovely at breakfast but we had neighbours up all hours being extremely loud shouting and using the hairdryer most of the night. We called down to reception at 1am and then again at 3am and a staff member went to the room on one occasion to ask them to keep the noise down, but they didn’t listen so we were kept up and didn’t sleep much. Was sad that nothing was done about it and had mentioned during check out to which we got “sorry about that, there was a group of kids in the room” appreciate it wasn’t their fault, but they should make sure they were removed if they weren’t being respectful. Wasn’t worth £280 for 2 nights of no sleep, won’t be back
