ibis Brighton City Centre - Station

Very functional, great staff, clean comfortable room.

The hotel is very well placed near the station, and the staff are wonderful - they are helpful, friendly and work incredibly well as a team. Great credit to Ibis and welcoming travellers to Brighton.

Ibis Brighton fabulously situated just down near main railway station . We stayed 2nights , probably had couple more hand towels each.

Bra läge, endast några minuter från Brighton Station. Stora och luftiga rum. Litet badrum. Vi fick ett rum på markplan och la märke till att vattnet i toaletterna blir gula trots att vi hållt in spolknappen och spolat rent. Det måste ha kommit från våningarna ovanför. Detta gillade jag inte med rummet. I övrigt var vi nöjda.

Great stay if you are needing somewhere affordable and easy to stay overnight! Right by the station so ideal for travelling into London.

Air Conditioning & Water———— I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for 3 people. The air conditioning in one of the rooms was very noisy and not acceptable. Reception gave us a fan but unable to fix the air-con, not acceptable due to the heatwave. Air-con on in the 2nd room broke down the next day. Once again we were given a fan and nothing else. On the morning of the 2nd night there was no water in taps or shower. Reception apologised as maintenance was being done which they did not know about. The water was off for a couple of hours, again not acceptable. The main reason we booked this particular hotel was for the air conditioning due to the heatwave. We were massively let down. The staff were not very well informed and unhelpful. It would be very difficult to recommend this Ibis hotel as a place to stay.

Great place and convenient

Place was ok. Not your normal hotel. No safe, no fridge, no clock and there were no outlets to charge your phone near your bed. Felt like I was in a cross between a hostel and hotel. The beds were not the normal mattress. Felt like we were sleeping on a foam mattress on a box.

The ibis Brighton is perfectly located in Brighton 5 minutes from railway station and a gentle stroll down to the beach front . It is the second time we've stayed there and we will be back.

Staff were really nice and friendly and very helpful. Very clean room.

Upon arrival, we were given a room with an AC that is completely broken. When I brought this up to the front desk, I was told that they can’t do anything except giving me a fan. It is not until I escalated the matter to the manager, I was given a similar room with a working AC. Besides the horrible room conditions and the poor attitude of the staff, the bathroom of this hotel is consistently stinky and I can’t bear staying inside it. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was spotless, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, my aircon unit wasn’t working but i had a fan in the room which did the job .. 10 out of ten for the Ibis
