Dated, disappointing and dull. If this hotel was a colour it would be beige, and there’s a fair amount of that in the colour scheme. The positives, staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for central London. The area is not great, but close to amenities - eg London Stadium, Westfield, etc. The hotel is tired in terms of decor, a smell of food as you arrive. No air con, instead air cooling that is noisy and ineffective. The rooms need updating. Not even an iron in the room. The ironing room itself has two ironing boards but only one iron, which was also pretty ineffective. At best this is a below average Travelodge experience at a much higher price. I stay over 100 nights a year in hotels, this has been my most disappointing this year.

Clean room. Comfy Bed. Efficient staff. Decent breakfast as budget hotels go. Though it took me a while to spot the coffee machine at breakfast - as it's partly hidden in a cupboard!

Great location for Excel conference

The location is good , near Bus & Rail stations. Rail to the West End takes only 20 minutes but can be super crowded before 930 & in the evening rush (take an Anglia train to avoid the worst of the crowds. Check in very smooth & no queues. Room fine as always. I love the cooked breakfast BUT the plates for eating one's breakfast off were COLD ! 3 days out of 4 , breakfast room not busy & could have a relaxing meal, but on the 3rd day it was full - a football/rugby team and it's staff seemed to have taken over. Hard to find space & a little uncomfortable. Room was generally quiet at night , no real traffic noise. There was a pluming problem in a room near mine - loud noise when taps/shower turned on. This was noticed day 1 & day 5 - why wasn't it reported by occupant & not sorted out !? But overall , quite happy with the stay , have been here several times without any major issues & consider the area to be safe for the visitor.

Stayed here to go to ABBA Voyage. Thought it was closer than it actually was but only a quick UBER away. Room was ready early which was nice. Clean, a bit too warm, but bed was very comfy. The bathroom is a “pod” that’s been fitted in the room and has a step up into it. This proved a bit tricky in the dark through the night. Stubbed toe on the way in and nearly head butted the mirror on the way out! All was clean though and the shower was nice and hot and powerful. Breakfast next morning as very good although the area for breakfast is not really big enough. All in all a good stay and would use again if needed to be in that area.

Only critism is that there was not a floor mat for the feet as the pod style shower is VERY slippy. Housekeeping staff were lovely and very helpful. Clean, convenient for where we needed to be and close to transport hub for underground, rail and buses.

great location and clean hotel but very dated and not well maintained as fixtures were loose and broken and walls need painting. Bed mattress keeps moving and not comfy. i was also so bored as i couldn’t connect to the wifi and could even connect to the TV or login to netflix or you tube and normal tv channels had lottery nothin on. Couldn’t sleep as can hear the cleaners hoovering in the corridor

The only downfall was I booked 2 single beds for me a my 18 Yr old son . When we arrived they said there wasn't any seperate single beds available only fixed ones

Air con unit in the room wasn’t working which would have been ideal in the heat. Otherwise a perfectly serviceable room

On entering the room my wife inspecting the bathroom had her hand superglued to the door handle, it took 10 minutes to free her causing considerable distress.

Golf location, close to shops, station and London stadium for our trip to Soccer Aid. If you are wanting to book breakfast do it at the point of booking. We were unsure if we would be staying for breakfast until the day and were told we did not qualify for the kids eat free breakfast offer as this is only available at the point of booking. None of the other hotels (premier inn, Travelodge) do this and you can still get the offer on the day. This was not made clear on the booking. In my opinion the offer should stand regardless of when you book it
