Yes it was very clean, the TV was tiny and signal not grest.

Don’t do it!! I stayed here before and thought I’d give it a second chance, big mistake. It’s called a hotel but when I went to bed around 9.30 I couldn’t even hear my tv from the noise at the bar. I called up and spoke to Laura who I asked when does the noise die down. Laura responded with well they’re locals and if you want to escalate it call head office. I knew it was a freehold but still, I asked for the number when Laura told me to google it. As it got louder I called again and Laura told me that we look after the locals and she’s never had a complaint in 2 years. I heard Laura and the regulars be rude about me as it was THAT loud. This hotel needs to decide whether it’s a hotel or a pub. Just don’t do it.

Great location Room was dated but clean and Staff were very friendly.

Check in wasn’t the most pleasant experience. It did say the pub would be open until 10 or 11pm. I arrived on a Sunday around 9pm and the door was locked so I called the number on the door and explained and the person just hang up on me and then opened the door and said something that it’s Sunday and they close early. Didn’t have any breakfast so can’t comment on that. Room was what I expected and would like to come back.

Lovely staff in the bar. Easy access in and out. But the bedroom door although electronic would lock and an alarm sounded every time I left the room

Websites said food should be available from the beginning of October, there was none. An updated website is necessary.

Room was very spacious and bedding excellent. Some stains on carpets, door handle missing from en suite, very loose hot water tap and mould around shower sealant. Room was warm and cosy.

Bar had good selection, staff friendly and helpful,room clean. Easy access to local centre.

The outside of the building is not in the best condition and gives wrong impression. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. Staff very nice. Free parking, free WiFi. Great for an overnight stay
