Room was cold and souless. Dust everywhere. I had to wipedown the interior of the wardrobe. Long wait for food in the bar and when it turned up it was poor quality. Hot dog was over cooked and cold and roasted pepper soup tasted bitter. I guess they left the charred skin in the mix. The walk from the deluxe room block at the farthest point from reception and restaurants. Is not for the faint hearted!! Take a coat.

I found the room small and the bed had seen better days with an obvious dip in the center where several guests have slept. Coldest room i have ever slept in even the TV didnt work properly! Food mediocre, oven baked salmon was so dry it sucked the moisture out of your mouth, charred burnt burgers and schnitzel so hard could be usec it as a weapon. Salt and pepper squid yummy, obviously brought in, as was the dairy free dessert. Also, watch out for the £100 pending charge for a £9+ outsranding balance. Outrageous, if dining room staff had done their job in fisrt place, there would be no balance to pay. Some staff were surly and arrogant. Wouldn't recommend as a stay, found this to be case in chain hotels, get them in, rip them off send them on their way.

From the start the receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant menu had something for everyone but the dessert menu was lacking. Breakfast was amazing!!! The spa facilities were as expected, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!

This is the seventh time we have stayed here and unfortunately each time has gotten worse than the last time! If you are prepared to wait an insane amount of time to be served bar food and then receive cold food then this is the place for you!!! Staff are generally good but understaffed, we keep giving them another chance but im not sure why

We had a 2nts stay including a spa treatment & was absolutely lovely. The room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable, we had a spa treatment each too which was amazing but we did have a minor discrepancy regarding payment which was soon rectified & spa facilities excellent. Overall our stay here was very nice & would definitely stay here again in the future.

I booked a night with access to the spa after a shopping trip for my daughter's birthday. The room was freezing and the TV didn't work. Housekeeping came and verified that it wasn't working and that maintenance would come, so we waited in the room for over an hour. I went to reception to let them know we were going for a walk incase maintenance need access and are told they had left for the day - would've been nice to have been told! We went to the pool for a swim and a steam room but the steam was out of order which we had not been advised about. When we got back to the room it was freezing, we had to snuggle together in all our layers under the covers as despite turning the radiator up it didn't come on. Very disappointed, more for my daughter as she had been so looking forward to it.

I was really looking forward to this weekend stay with my boyfriend. The room was great, can’t fault it at all, we loved it. Drink service was great at the bar and there was a lovely lady who we think could be the manager who always served us with a smile. However, food service was slow at the bar and we actually had three people complain about service/food while we were there for lunch. Food arrived cold and took longer than expected for two paninis, so I imagine it must have been sat a while before served to us. Finally the spa was small and the pool water has turned my hair green, so I’m having to spend more money to remove the green from my hair than what I paid for the weekend stay. Not sure what was in the water for that to happen because I have dark hair not blonde which is normally the colour of hair that turns green.

Great service great staff great stay

A well run, efficient, friendly hotel with very pleasant well trained staff. Hotel pool and gym in excellent order, as was the rest of the hotel. Some bedrooms are reserved especially for those of us with dogs, with doggy waste bins in the grounds. Will definitely return here.

The reception area of the hotel is light and airy and very welcoming. We found our room quite easily and it was both comfortable and quiet. The leisure pool was a bonus although it isn’t very big so swimming lengths wasn’t particularly easy. Dinner was nice but it is quite difficult to get 3 courses for the £32 allowance. We just chose two. Breakfast was no more than ok. The coffee was terrible and hot food was lukewarm at best. However, there was a good choice of cereal and fruit and the freshly made porridge was very nice.

Another Amazing Stay - free beverages and premium Nespresso Coffee. Quality sleep with SPA and breakfast before going to work. What else do you need.
