Great hotel
Great staff
Great food
Plenty of free parking.
Room was very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Had breakfast and this was V good. Would / will stay here again. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation. Evening meal and breakfast fabulous. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
When this hotel was a Toch H House 36 years ago went for Conference. Didn't know when booked with a friend it was the same place we'd met 36 years ago, total amazement!!!!

Just brilliant! We really enjoyed our stay at Oakhill. Our room was large and very comfortable with a fantastic bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was wonderful, with a good selection of gluten free options. The waiting staff were friendly and highly efficient. Breakfast was also excellent. Well done!

The hotel was lovely, an older building but modern decor, very large comfy bed. Really lovely attentive staff. Breakfast was great, nice and fresh and good quality. 3 minute drive into matlock bath (20 min walk). TV decided to turn on by jtself around midnight which gave us a scare 😱. Skirting boards and bedside lamps were dusty (only noticed this as we had them on rather than the 'big light') but this is the only thing i have to say on the down side. Would definatley stay again.

The hotel was excellent and been sympathetically renovated to be in keeping with the victorian era. the only thing wrong was the heating system was very noisy and kept us awake

This was a gem of a property for us.
It was squeaky clean. ( i am a tiddly bit Ocd)
Ample of parking space.
Excellent breakfast choices. Specially us bring vegetarians.
The owner, Sharon, was amazingly friendly and helpful, and very warm.
Made us feel very welcome and at home.
Would recommend it to any one any time.

Lovely place to stay, relaxing atmoshere. Loved our room (Arkwright) spacious, airy with unique period touches. Bathroom, a dream. Staff very pleasant and always there.

Fantastic stay, place is beautiful, the room was marvellous, food was delicious and staff were all very friendly and helpful.
One of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time.
