Excellent location and staff. The breakfast was wonderful with everything to offer. Parking was great and the hotel was in walking distance to everything. The cathedral was minutes away, coffee and food shops everywhere. The rooms were clean, the only gripe I have is the pillows on the bed were terrible. You could not fluff them at all and they are in need of replacement. Other than that I would definitely stay here again, I would just take my own pillow

Rather old tired looking hotel. The rooms were cold as our heater was not working properly. We asked them several times to fix it eventually they gave us a blanket and a small heater.
The buffet breakfast was very average, in fact we skipped it the second day.

Location, location,location! It’s at the heart of all the action and n York. Virtually all the tourist spots are easily walkable. We had a family room. It was spacious. Yes the hotel is old but staff was very helpful and more or less things were clean. Breakfast was good.

Lovely hotel very friendly staff. Lovely room with a king size bed over looking the river.
Food in the restaurant was nice and at a good price. Location of the hotel is superb and is it right in the city centre.

Have stayed in the Queens a couple of times for New year its comfortable warm atmosphere and breakfast is good. Great location would stay here next time we come to York.

Shower wasn’t hot bath was pretty stained and smelt of bleach, breakfast was the best part of the stay , but I couldn’t have eggs as they only had scrambled and I’m lactose intolerant. Staff are very friendly. Rooms have seen better days towels are tiny. Lights were full of dust, dropped my earring and under bed was very dusty .

My friend and I have stayed at The Queen's Hotel York on a Few occasions and have always found it extremely clean and tidy, the Staff are Always Welcoming, Kind, Respectful and Friendly.
The Breakfast is always fresh
We look forward to staying there again in The New Year 2025
