Spacious lovely room. The mini fridge was really useful. Excellent location for the everything we needed whilst in Sheffield- city hall for a concert and local restaurants.

Great location was in town for a gig at Sheffield City Oval Hall and was only few minutes walk away, lovely products and fine selection teas and coffees in room

Staff were lovely but it was very understaffed especially at breakfast. The way finding signage is very poor, hard to find your way back to reception from room and as hotel has unusual layout this was an issue. Bumped into a couple of people who also struggled to find way back to reception

great location, beautiful and clean hotel and a good breakfast.

The location was brilliant. The shower head was covered in limescale and the toilet ran for 15mins after each flush

The power on 1 side of the room did not work which meant we had no TV and had to move the kettle to the other side of the room to boil it, my partner also couldn't dry her hair in front of the mirror. I did report the issue at 5pm on the Saturday but no one came. Other than this, the bed, shower, breakfast was lovely. Thanks.

Great place to stop to go round Sheffield, clean, nice helpful staff

Beautiful hotel, smelt great as we walked in. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was large , clean and plenty of toiletries. Two bottles of free water which were very useful. Fantastic location for the City Hall and hhe parking was reasonable and very vlose by. We will use again !

I stayed here for my wedding - on the whole, the hotel was great and the room offered everything I needed. My only slight disappointment was with regards to the staff member who I dealt with on check-in who when I said I was here for my wedding the next day, she didn’t smile nor show any form of reaction other than to ask if I wanted to pay to upgrade my room. I wasn’t expecting any special treatment, but a smile and some form of “congratulations” is to me, basic courtesy. Some of my bridal party had a similar experience with the same member of staff (mentioned the wedding when checking in and her saying “yep the wedding. I know”) and one had a few maintenance issues in their room (three of us had requested rooms together to help with getting ready on the morning) and when reporting them to the same member of staff was dealt with in the same blunt and unhelpful tone. For the same maintenance issue, despite being told no maintenance colleagues were on site overnight, someone still tried to enter her room at 3am. Aside from this, I enjoyed my stay overall and would recommend the hotel to others.
