Unfortunately my room had inadequate facilities (a wardrobe that didn’t allow for full-length storage of my garments) but the staff downstairs put it right and moved me to a better room. The breakfast the following day was wonderful and all-in-all, a lovely stay. Would definitely return:

This hotel was amazing. It is one of the best, if not the best, hotel Ihave stayed in. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The doorman was great and very helpful with directions and information on local places to eat and visit. The staff in general were all very pleasant and always glad to help. The breakfast was amazing too. I highly recommend this hotel for any stay in London.

The Cumberland was a decent hotel overall. The bed was somewhat comfortable, you could feel its age and the underpinnings were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there were spots on the ceiling that raised some eyebrows. Gym was clean and well stocked. Reception was overall very helpful except for delays in housekeeping/maintenance arriving to solve a plumbing issue. Great value for money for London and the location for time of year.

Lobby area was good and clean. Fairly busy at times. Downstairs bar was very busy, not enough staff to cater for the guests. Lift access was somewhat confusing and not explained properly to the guests, there should have been someone standing at the lift to explain how it works. Room was average and it was facing the back of the hotel, the air conditioning generator was outside and omitting a very loud sound all day and night. We had to ditch the fridge off too as that was making loud clicking sound too. If you want a peaceful night sleep then it’s not an ideal room. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom very average and worn out. Location was at Marble Arch, 1 minute walk from Oxford street. Plenty of eateries and shops. Perfect location for shopping.

Chose this hotel for its proximity to attractions (excellent). My sibling and I are openly queer presenting, so we assume that was why the staff was very curt to us. Otherwise, the stay was lovely. Good food, lovely location.

room as expected, like the new gordon restaurant, reception looking cool. my only issue is that on several occasions ive noticed the older guy on front door is creepy around women and its obvious. I will leave it to you to sort out as i've reported it before

Stunning Lobby and bar. Check in experience was satisfactory. Room was small with small double bed. Cocktails at the bar were great however the bar experience was disappointing. Along with other residents we had to wait at least 45 minutes in between drinks to be served again at one point having asked for more drinks the server disappeared and forgot us…. we were still expected to pay13.5% service charge. Frustration was clear amongst the people around us. The bar was understaffed and the frustration with this was also apparent amongst them! We gave our feedback on check out about the bar experience, the team member was sympathetic but advised that we should have reported this to the bar staff at the time. This was not appropriate to do at the time as it was difficult enough getting a drink let alone trying to give feedback or refusing to pay a service charge.We were offered a voucher however we were leaving at that moment so declined the offer and just left our feed back. Great location for central London ..just next to Hyde Park

The Cumberland was a decent hotel overall. The bed was somewhat comfortable, you could feel its age and the underpinnings were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there were spots on the ceiling that raised some eyebrows. Gym was clean and well stocked. Reception was overall very helpful except for delays in housekeeping/maintenance arriving to solve a plumbing issue. Great value for money for London and the location for time of year.

Lobby area was good and clean. Fairly busy at times. Downstairs bar was very busy, not enough staff to cater for the guests. Lift access was somewhat confusing and not explained properly to the guests, there should have been someone standing at the lift to explain how it works. Room was average and it was facing the back of the hotel, the air conditioning generator was outside and omitting a very loud sound all day and night. We had to ditch the fridge off too as that was making loud clicking sound too. If you want a peaceful night sleep then it’s not an ideal room. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom very average and worn out. Location was at Marble Arch, 1 minute walk from Oxford street. Plenty of eateries and shops. Perfect location for shopping.

Unfortunately my room had inadequate facilities (a wardrobe that didn’t allow for full-length storage of my garments) but the staff downstairs put it right and moved me to a better room. The breakfast the following day was wonderful and all-in-all, a lovely stay. Would definitely return:

This hotel was amazing. It is one of the best, if not the best, hotel Ihave stayed in. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The doorman was great and very helpful with directions and information on local places to eat and visit. The staff in general were all very pleasant and always glad to help. The breakfast was amazing too. I highly recommend this hotel for any stay in London.

Chose this hotel for its proximity to attractions (excellent). My sibling and I are openly queer presenting, so we assume that was why the staff was very curt to us. Otherwise, the stay was lovely. Good food, lovely location.

room as expected, like the new gordon restaurant, reception looking cool. my only issue is that on several occasions ive noticed the older guy on front door is creepy around women and its obvious. I will leave it to you to sort out as i've reported it before
