Convenient, friendly and clean.

Overall decent hotel. Best thing is convenient location to the train station, dining options and attractions. Warm breakfast options and happy hour incl. boardgames and snacks were great. Rooms could use a makeover (bathroom ceiling crumbling etc) though, especially for the price.

A lovely hotel.classic room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Bar staff were excellent. Breakfast was lovely.

Convenient location. Walkable to everything in town. Bathroom toilet and tub gurgle and spout nasty water about 2-3 inches up from the drain, very visible and smells awful. This is sewer gas. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Check-in is rigid, even if the room is ready and cleaned, you cannot check in until 3 pm - period. A long line forms at the front desk at 3 pm, all guests kept waiting in adjacent sitting rooms for the 3 pm hour. Petty and bureaucratic process and not in the least customer friendly.

Really lovely stay here. Perfect central location and parking. The staff were excellent and accomodating. The atmosphere was very relaxed and a great cocktail bar. Would definitely come again :)

Great property, great location, was really nice and the staff were wonderful, probably the only thing I could say is, an air con unit and a fridge in the room would’ve been good but that’s the other thing I could say that’s remotely negative. We got to the hotel early so that we could look around Canterbury. Parking at the hotel is via an App,(it was not like that last time we stayed), being Old it took us over half an hour to pay for the parking, bare that in mind if you are old and not OK with modern Apps and you don't have a smart phone the telephone numbers on the "Ringo notice board do not help with paying for parking", basically a nightmare. Hotel was fantastic, clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing in the morning was great, continental or full English. At the end of the Car Park is a "Wetherspoons" so the evening meal was excellent:- 2 Fish, Chips and Peas, a Pint of Cider and a Brandy and coke £23.50 all in. All in all we had a lovely time at the Falstaff, Canterbury.

All good apart from the parking arrangements with a third party,had great difficulty with registration on line or over phone so had to get reception to sort it out very stressful.Why do you have to have a third party to manage your car park?

A fridge in the room would be useful.

L'hôtel est plutôt sympathique et très bien situé (centre-ville et 7 min à pied de la gare de Canterbury West). Le petit déjeuner est vraiment bon (à la carte) mais on vous demandera de réserver un horaire spécifique lors du check-in ce qui ne permet pas d'être vraiment libre). Les chambres sont jolies et propres mais évitez à tout prix les chambres donnant sur la rue qui sont ultra bruyantes (rue très passante - voiture + jeunes qui font la fête). De plus, les chambres du dernier étage sont sous-pentes, non isolées, sans ventilateur (30 degrés en plein été !) et avec un duvet pour seul drap !!! Bien évidemment, impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre pour laisser rentrer l'air frais de la nuit à cause du bruit incessant. Une nuit blanche pour nous ! En résumé : super hôtel si vous réservez une chambre donnant sur la cour ou dans l'annexe, sinon passez votre chemin (ou prenez des bouchons d'oreille) !

Parking was a liitle difficult because the app didn,t work and I had the idee paring at the hotel. But it was not so I had to park in the garage a.

Have stayed before ,stayed because of previous visit not as good this time room was nice right over busy road windows not double glazed so very noisy during the night,local Wetherspoons meant we heard the Wetherspoons Warblers late into the night
