Room was exceptionally clean, staff polite, friendly and welcoming. Parking was £10 but no issues. Didn't have breakfast as had to leave before it started.

It is quite near to town but the room is not very clean

Staff were very courteous and obliging. I spent a very disturbed night as the foam mattress was full of mould. This caused an acute inflammatory reaction, the body to pour out perspiration all night, plus fifteen trips to the toilet. There is a high level of pollution. All my clothes smelled plus anything I left on the dressing table surface. The air quality is not good.

For breakfast there war a choice of fruit juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt, brown/white toast and full English or any combination of the fore mentioned. A selection of coffee and teas. All top quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The hotel was absolutely spotlessly clean and refurbished to a high degree. All staff were so friendly and we were made to feel so relaxed, nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t need the use of car parking but there was a decent car park and some disabled parking spaces. The hotel catered for disabled including having a lift. There’s a lovely conservatory to sit in looking over the garden with some cheeky squirrels & birds to watch and also there’s a beautiful lounge and a small bar which is open 24/7. Its only a 15 minute walk to the beach at strolling pace, a little longer going back as it’s uphill. Overall a very pleasant and happy experience a big thank you to Roberto and staff for making our stay so special

Trevlig personal, nära till centrum och stort rum. Sängarna var dock väldigt mjuka men i stort var det väldigt prisvärt!

Great value

Arrived early so lucky to score a car park for our 2 night stay. Friendly welcome. Lovely room with leafy outlook. Very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to East Cliff zig zag path and down to city centre.

Had an excellent stay at the Grove Hotel. Clean, spacious well furnished and decorated throughout the premises. My room was upgraded and I also received a drinks voucher which was a lovely bonus. The freshly cooked delicious full english breakfast was included in my rate. I would like to mention the hotel staff Roberto and Reddy who went to great lengths to offer a high level of customer service and support. The Grove is a quality hotel which offers great value for money. Thank you, I shall no doubt return again in the future.
